Brisebois, the french Roenick!

Anyone else catch his comments this morning? Saying, "enough bull*hit, let's play hockey". He was pissed at the PA for turning down the last offer. hmmmmm? Maybe it's because it's his last shot at the big money? You think?

I still say keep him though!!!

I guess I'm caught up in the romance of him playing his whole career with one team,
and like most romances, it's hard to let go of the present because of the past.

When were these doushbags ever unified?

Still can't believe we lost 1 year of hockey

6 months of that 1 year claiming you'd never accept a cap...fast forward 1 year later, you guys are taking the cap up the ***

This best sums up the whole CBA negotiations, I read this in an article can't remember who...

"Please explain to me how Micheal Jordan and Jerry Rice can live in a world with a cap, but Matt Stajan can't?"

Players are loosers or are being led by loosers, either way, there's a whole bunch of loosers on the players side.

yah now they speak out, but where were they 1 year ago when it was time to speak out. Brisebois is speaking out now but they never had the balls to do it a year ago. Lost of players will come out now because they are saffer then before but to me, it's still bull****. I have no respect to any player who decide to talk now. And when the McCabe's of the world will start speaking out, then we will see how a bunch of idiots they really are.

We don't know that Brisebois sat by idly in February watching the season go down the toilet without saying anything. Maybe he did speak out. Just not publicly. Saying anything in public at that time wouldn't have helped anyone. Any player who did speak out is a laughingstock (Modano, McCabe). Same with the owners, they had fines laid out for anyone who said anything publicly. If the owners knew or thought there were these serious cracks in the NHLPA back in Feb, that definitely doesn't help the NHLPA.

The only way I consider owners loosers in all of this, is because it's they're fault it go to this point, but I blame the players 100% since the day the lockout started, to me, it's all they're fault the season was lost, they spent the whole offseason saying they'd never accept a cap, they said the same thing from September to February, and finally they accepted the cap...

From the beginning I was saying the cap was inevitable, if the PA would of stopped wasting time denying that fact (even though it was apparent to anyone with a brain) and gotten down to actually negotiating from that cap like they are today, we could of had maybe a full season, at the worst, a half season...

The fact the players vehemently refused to accept a cap, was a non starter, didin't matter if the owners sat down with them for 100 hours, as long as they didin't accept the fact that a cap was needed, all was lost.

Had the players accepted the fact that a cap was needed 1 or 2 years before the lockout started, a deal would of been signed probably during the last offseason heading into the lockout

Idiots!

And I knew this was going to happen

Anyways, who the hell cares about hockey right now!

NBA draft is in 1 day!

welcome to the board Theodoredust !

you are going to realise fast that when Brisebois ,Ribeiro ,Dagenais and the most of the people of the french medias (with 110 % at the top of the list) are saying something, there is a trhead the day after .What they are saying or the way they do it doesn't matter ;the thread is going to turn them as stupid peoples or stupid comments.. ...

simply imagine what kind of comments people would have made if Brisebois would have said that the players are given too much and that they have to wait before signing anything just to gain more...

Boy, Joy Division never goes out of style. I used to listen to that stuff in CEGEP and university, back in the early 80s.

Sad to say, but some guys seal their notoriety by committing suicide, which is a kind of cop-out. They don't stay cool when they age, lose their hair, and develop a pot belly, while still in the public eye. It's the same thing with James Dean: there would probably be fewer James Dean posters if he grew old in the same manner that, say, Marlon Brando did.

Yeah right...the NBA draft unlike the NFL and NHL draft doesn't take forever just for 1 team to pick, they go through the picks quickly and you're not sitting there waiting for your team to draft 5 hours after it started...
