Ugh, why do you hope no one makes it? Because someone might get injured? Gimme a break.

Okay... this brings up question that is begging to be asked: Since the teams will not be selected until two days or so before the ASG... how are fans supposed to buy jerseys? I believe it will be Team Blue and Team Red, or something along those lines, so what team is your favorite player going to be on? Do you have to wait until AFTER the ASG?... Surely they cannot produce all those jerseys in the couple of days before the ASG face-off.

Observation... This brilliant idea may just be costing the NHL/NHLPA/Merchants/Reebok/Organizations/etc. a lot of lost revenue. Duh!

I picked Richie and Pronger. Really any of the guys listed are equally deserving, IMO

I bet they have 3 all-star Jerseys. One for each team and a third generic one.

Briere definitely. Not sure who else. Probably Richards, Giroux or Leino

That may very well be the case, but which would a fan buy... and what does a merchant carry... and what do they do with the stocked jerseys that have a player's name on a wrong color? Seems to me a high overhead proposition for the sellers and no buy situation for the fans before the game. They would have to count on high post game sales and not stock many until everything is settled down.

Not an envious position on any side... unless fans can get greatly reduced ones on clearance.

I probably just have a blue and a white or a red and a white, and will sell jerseys for both teams.

I heard the teams are just going to be called 'Team [captain last name]', so we could be in the horrible situation of seeing Briere score for 'team Crosby'.

Still... each player will be assigned to a team two days prior to ASG... Until then there is a 50/50 chance of buying a player jersey with the correct color. How are they to make and stock players jerseys? Rhetorical question... unless somebody has the correct answer. I can't even guess what they will do for jersey sales.

The thing is specialty jersey sales are such money makers... and many fans enjoy it and spend much money on them... I just feel that this is great revenue lost to NHL?NHLPA... and has to have at least a small effect on the Cap -- granted, very small in the grand scheme of things... but a negative effect just the same.

As for Team Crosby... My hope is the players go the route I believe to be the best and honorable one; rather than go the man-crush way fans would, players should honor the long-standing players who have served the NHL well over a long period of time... the veteran players who may not have the marque name of a Crosby, OV, or Stamkos... Just dreaming though. sigh.

One can only guess that they'll look better when next to the Guardians.

I think Giroux is the only Flyer. Briefly got a glimpse from a tweet a few minutes ago. Don't have the link.
