Svatos nice dangle around the defenseman, hard to do that twice in a row though haha.
He's playing with alot of jump right now.

Amazingly the Shark's broadcast team is homer free so far. I would prefer Armed Forces Network to pick up Pred's feed but at least I get to see game

Wilson's gotta get one now. Recently it's as if he and Sergei have been in a competition, and feeding off each other.

Wow, Colin not able to keep it and then they pummel us with shots. Quit trying for the goal Willie, I was just kidding around. Sit on the lead...

Rinne was a beast as usual.

This one feels good!, lets keep distancing ourselves from the pack.

W00!

Cheers.

Only got to see a few minutes of the game tonight, but listened to the rest on XM. Pekka was clear and away the No. 1 star of the night.

West Coast sweep!!! 5 wins in a row!!! 4th place!!!

Let's hope Svatos is alright...

That's all I got for tonight. Driving back to Nashville tomorrow to beat the snow, will see y'all at the rink on Tuesday.

All in all, it's just ANOTHER GREAT night to be a Nashville Predators fan!!!

Unlike the game in Anaheim where the shots were high, I think Rinne stole this one for us. Whereas he wasn't all that tested in the Ducks game--the shots against were something of a red herring. Not the case tonight...he saved our bacon, and I think that was easily his best game of the season.

It's great that we're winning with so much out of the lineup, and our top six looks dangerous more often than not--not always the case with everyone healthy, you really see the lack of depth when the third and especially fourth line gets out. You can't really be surprised with a Frankenstein trio of Dumont, Mueller and Belak, but I hope we get some healthy bodies back before our luck runs out and opposing teams are able to shut down that top six. I do hope that Trotz doesn't mess with the lines too much...I actually like Hornqvist with Goc and SK more than Erat...gives the line a little bit of everything, and the results are obvious. The Wilson Legwand Svatos line has looked dangerous as well--actually allows Legwand to show that he can play an offensive role. So, with Erat and Spaling close to returning and Sullivan possibly not far behind...what happens to the lines? Belak and Mueller would be the most obvious to come out...but there's almost no way to put together sensible lines without breaking up some combinations that have been working pretty effectively.

BTN, I think with Spaling and Erat coming back soon we put Spaling back with Smithson and Ward and maybe we put Erat with Mueller and Dumont? That way we're not rushing Erat back in there, no pun intended and maybe it gives Dumont another guy on his line to help him offensively. I've actually been impressed with the way Mueller has played. What becomes tricky is when Sully is ready to return since we have a few guys that are centers that are playing wing.

I have to say this, Franson maybe with his best game of the year. He actually knocked a few guys down tonight and his physical play has been picking up as has been noted around here.

The PP was great tonight. J/K.

Rinne was like BTN said, the best he's been all year. I still think he's got an achilles heal and that's when teams go to shoot over his shoulders. He sometimes goes down too quick and leaves top shelf open a little too much. Other than that, really nice game and great road trip for the boys. Thought tonight could've been a game where we took the foot off the pedal and we played hard for 60 minutes. We won a few different ways on this trip. Some we scored a ton and tonight we shut SJ down defensively. Nice to see this team finding that balance that we've been looking for. SJ announcers were pretty complimentary of us tonight. I have to say, having Center Ice and not listening to Pete and Terry has been a nice surprise. The announcers for most teams are usually pretty complimentary of our team and work ethic and always say we're a tough team to play against because of our work ethic.

Feels good when the team is playing well.

I can see why Svatos has been injured so much the last few years. Small guy but plays hard and doesn't back down from battles. He was growing on me big time. Hopefully it's nothing to serious but the replay didn't look good.

Im just glad we managed to slop in a couple of goals and get Rinne the win... before this current streak started the poor guy had a losing record despite a GAA of about 2.20 and a Save % on the good side of .920..

The team was scoring 1.5 goals per game most of that time. Things work so much better when they're scoring 4-5 a night and as a result Pekka picks up the team tonight and works his magic for only 1 GA and propels the team to a 2-1 win!
