Player of the Game: #43 @ St. Louis Blues

Let's try something new. For the second half of the season, I will be making a Player of the Game thread, where we can discuss the individual merits of players. This may or may not be sort of ripped from WBB.

Rules

You are voting for the player who contributed the most, who stood out the most, or who put forth the best effort.

You must vote for a Rangers player who played in the game. No voting for scratched players, injured players, or someone who sat on the bench the entire game.

If you vote "Other" please indicate who in your post.

-----

Dubinsky wins this. 2 goals scored by the team, he assisted on both. Case closed.

That's what the "Other" option is for. These were just off the top of my head. Chill.

Biron over Dubi.

Dubinsky was great (again) but Biron showed why he's one of the best backups going around

Yeah man, calm down. Hes trying to do something cool. There is an other choice for a reason.

As for Dubi vs. Biron. Dubinsky played great, but Biron stole that game for us, simply put.

Dubinsky assisted on 2 goals. If Biron didn't play as good as he did, those 2 goals wouldn't have been enough.

Biron, then Dubi.

I gotta go with Dubi. As well as Biron played, I felt Dubinsky was DOMINANT.

Dubi was good again but IMO Biron was better tonight. He made some really good saves.

May or may not? lololol

Biron, Girardi, Dubinsky, Eminger were the standouts for me. I also loved the way McD played.

Good idea.

I always thought that what the Pens board does is pretty good and I'd wish we adopted that, personally, which is a Post Game Plus / Minus deal.

Here I've got to take Biron, I guess.

I was actually thinking of tacking that on to my next PotG.

We'll see how this goes.

If people like the idea, what do you want to call it?

Plus/Minus
Up/Down
Hot/Not
Good/Bad/Ugly

Yup. They do that all the time and it's actually quite a good read at times. I enjoy reading their PGTs - unless they played us.

lol @ Up/down.

I like Good/Bad/Ugly, even though the Sabres board already uses that.
