Depends on what kind of contract he has but I'm guessing he was brought in by Rangers for this very eventuality. Isn't he on an AHL 25 game "tryout" contract? If not him, someone else with experience. Not a development situation. williams has had a lot of injuries but he's been a card carrying NHL player. Also could see White on recall waivers.

Ok this is just getting ridiculous now. I hope Grachev gets another look.

It really is funny how things even out over the course of a couple of seasons. Last season we had virtually no major injuries. This season we're paying our dues for last year and than some.

It really is amazing with all the injuries this team has dealt with and still manages to be extremely competitive and have a record of 10 games above .500

I love it!!!

he would prob get claimed and wed lose him and get stuck paying 1/2 his contract.

Call up Newbury, Grachev is not good enough to play in the NHL. At least not yet.

I'll take Jason Williams up here over Grachev any day. This team is contending, and they need some relief to make it until they can get Cally back. We already know Jason Williams can play an NHL level game. Grachev is our soon to be shipped off almost-but-never-was prospect and I think we all know it.

Oh no? Is this supposed to be a bad thing?

Call up Kennedy with Williams, just in case Kennedy gets picked up off waivers.

So, a third round pick, about to turn 21, going to be shipped out of town? Yea that makes a ton of sense

I've not sure that Grachev is the best choice right now. Jason Williams is on an AHL contract I think.

A younger bigger body is Brodie Dupont. He has 12 points in his last 15 games which is pretty hot for him. To me it should be one of Jeremy Williams, Newbury or Dupont.

Were you trying to be contradict yourself? Also I guess depth doesn't matter to you. As long as the players aren't as important we can bring up the entire Hartford Whale to play with us...

I say call up Dupont over Grachev. Brodie has really earned at least a look over 4 years with the Whalepack.

Holy ****... I know Frolov isn't that good and that bad, but still. He's on the team and he's another one to drop.

Who the ****'s next?

Grachev definitely needs to be up. I thought he looked decent when he was playing up here.

This is actually a blessing having all these injuries . We get to se how a real TEAM can perform during that stretch . Frollie should not be that hard to replace...but it also makes him hard to trade . Oh well...have to take the good with the bad !

This is a considerable loss and i hope he can come back soon. He has gotten better as the season progressed.
