I agree. The question is what is he worth in terms of dollars and cents. The problem is his age, 35.

http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/con...id=35&id=91442

For anyone that hasn't seen it, its the goal and end of game antics.

Max was definately at fault, when I first watched it, I was like Chara started it and skated over to them while celebrating and Max just pushed him to chase him away but when they show a different angle, Max pushed him earlier unprovoked.

I kinda feel sorry for Patches, he's gonna have Chara after him for the rest of his career, not the smartest move.

RBC sad
What surprised me is that McGuire and Dube didn't know this and said the Habs move back up to 3rd spot because the tie break is wins.

On the contrary, MacPac will be our new Begin. Always in Chara's head and taking him off is game

Chara is garbage and a penalty machine when he is distracted and angry.

Haha, the Pacioretty push had nothing to do with cockiness, it just looks like the kind of reflex you have when you see someone is in your way at the last second. Chara should have moved his fat ass out of the way if he didn't want to feel the ignominy of being slightly shoved.

Chara has always been garbage against us. He can't handle small shifty forwards. Probably why Philly dismantled Boston as well with guys like Briere and Giroux giving them fits.

Chara is a beast, but seems to be missing a few screws when under pressure...get him off his game, and he is not a good defender...but when he is on his game, he is a tough SOB to play against...

Great comeback! A lucky bounce for Gomez started it all......

I wonder how long JM will wait until he decides to practice the finishing of scoring chances.

I think he was being sarcastic, poking fun at those who blame the coach for everything.

At least I hope he was.

Even though it was sarcastic, finish has often been a problem with that team.

Not if sure anybody remembers but last night Kampfer was roughing it up with Gomez in the corner after Pacman had scored. That's the same player Conboy clocked with a hit that got him suspended from MSU. If he stays with Boston and Conboy makes the team in a few years that will be a rivalry.

The article said 3000th NHL home game, and I remember a few days ago watching highlights on Sportsnet that Toronto played their 3000th NHL home game, so I assumed Montreal already had theirs but didn't remember it ever being noted, and then I read that here yesterday.

Likewise for every other team in the NHL.
If teams scored on more than half their chances, the number of goals in the NHL would be going through the roof.

He won't be as annoying with the talking though, Lapierre can get under a lot of peoples skin by trash talking in French. The other players don't even know what he's saying but when people start laughing you know it must be some good trash talk.

I agree, he pretty much has the potential to be our own version of Dan Carcillo, him and White too imo.

Conboy-Halpern-White >> Moen-Halpern-Pyatt.

We won but that OT powerplay was disgusting. We have no low game, it is all high and their passing was terrible and way too easy to cover.

That is what should be practiced.
