Sathers got a special jar of chloroform he's been saving, a special extra-strength formula to attain Brian Burke's Grabovski.

LOL

Good choice's both would be good fits for the Ranger's.Getting Grabovski out of Tor. would be harder but Bruke and Sather get along well and who know's maybe Sather has a trick up him sleeve.

I doubt it.

Roys out for the season, so thats a moot point.

Thats too bad for Fro. He brought some good things to this team including depth, strong puck possession, ect.

Unfortunately, his yawning on screen, on the ice last game was a pretty good indication of his overall interest level this year. If he does return to hockey, it will likely be in the KHL.

I forgot about him being out for the season---well cross him off the list.Still like Grabovski but Bruke is tough cookie to deal with.

How about a 2nd round pick for Grabovski seeing how Tor. is hurting for draft picks over the next 2 years.

Regarding Grachev,he has been given more responsibility and he has played better. Even Bruce Berlet who has written many nice things about Grachev wrote a few days ago Grachev could be in line for another stint with the Rangers. So actually it appears Grachev is starting to find his game.

Grabovskis got a year left on a 2.9 hit until he goes UFA in two summers...

It would take more than that.

Burke was quoted on HNIC from an interview proclaiming Grabo is one of the pieces he wants to keep going forward. He also mentioned MacArthur. I sincerely doubt he will be dumping these guys anytime soon, especially not for table scraps with bloated contracts, or 2-3rd picks.

I guess more like--

Grachev and a 2nd
for
Grabovski

I read somewhere that Bruke really likes Grachev--maybe a little too much to give up.

I wasn't watching the game where Frolov messed up his knee. Was it on the ice? And if so, does anyone have a YT?

Yeah, A Blues player fell on his leg. It actually didn't look too bad and Frolov tried to play through it. I can't find any video.

Thanks, if that's what happened, I don't need a video. I thought someone hit him.

As a result, would not shock me if Cally is given the "C" next year and Drury gets relegated to "A". Happened in Dallas with Morrow and Modano. Again, not saying it will necessarily, but if Cally is the leader and more vocal in the locker room, why delay the inevitable?
i would have a lot of respect for him if Drury turned the C over.

I sincerely doubt Callahan would have any interest in doing something like that.

In my book it was a cheap shot and I said that as soon as it happened. The guy tacked him from behind like he was a running back for no reason. It should have been a penalty but wasn't called.

Ya i really dont know why people were so hard on this guy. Its not easy to go from LA for so many years and to NY and expect to produce the first few games. His game has progressed and is loss as i said before.

Why in gods name would anyone consider trading for Grabovski, when he is playing as good as he will ever play. He not a NY ranger guy at all.

Sure itīs sad for Alex but what will you do? I mean itīs ok we got enough good players @ the Whale and the Wolski trade gave us even more depth. Alex didnīt used his potential all season long and i think if he hadnīt get hurt he would have been traded...

Just my standpoint.

I think frolov's done in the NHL.

I'm not quite sure what happened with him, he's been declining the past few seasons, but he should be entering his prime, he's 28! His best seasons were 06-08 and he's been on a steady decline since then. He has about the same amount of ice time and points as prust does, except prust plays with a lot less talent and plays a different role on the team.

Next season he's either going to the KHL or will get at best a very small 1 year contract to prove himself.

Did he have an MRI yet?

Sounds like he didn't. I would imagine the swelling is pretty bad. If he could come back that would be a nice boost late in the season.
