No, they are purely speculative. We'll know around 5 o'clock when Torts has his pre-game press conference.

From newyorkrangers.com

Both of the newcomers (Newbury & Wolski) will be available tonight, with Rangers head coach John Tortorella still to make up his mind as to who will be in his lineup.

seconded.

i went skating this morning too, so now I've just been sitting around all day waiting to watch NYR hockey...

anyway, I don't think Auld will implode tonight like others do, but it should be a solid all around game with the Rangers winning. Steps, Staal (), and Wolski with goals. 3-1 in the end.

LGR!!

My humble prediction is 4-2 Rangers...

Mza with 1 goal..

Stepan with 1+2..

Lundqvist with 33 saves..

Wolski with 1 pass...

I'm an Avs fan living in BK and I'm so close to buying some tickets to see Wolski's debut. But, I can just watch it on TV and get some other things done around the house. Decisions

Personally, I still got hope for Wolski to put it together. The guy is incredibly skilled, and he has shown that he can dominate for long stretches.

If there's any silver lining to the Phoenix failure, it's that Joe Sacco and Dave Tippett are very similar coaches in ideology/philosophy. A lot of us Avs fans were kind of puzzled that Phoenix would trade for him, with this in mind. And by the Coyotes fans' insistence that it was a foregone conclusion that WW would perform well, because if he didn't, he'd know he would sit. (We all know how that turned out. Again, very similar coaching tactic employed by Colorado's coach.)

I think Wolski would flourish under a player's coach. Maybe getting yelled at by Torts could get him going, though. Whatever happens, I'm pulling for him to find his game in NY. Good luck guys.

You're all too slow.

But yeah, excited to see what those three can do. As I said before, maybe Wolski might even get Gabby going.
