Well yeah I don't have any problem with Auld, but scoring one goal against him is what's frustrating.

The good:

Lundqvist - some terrific saves

Avery - been bringing it the last two weeks

Zuccarello - really like this guy

Dubinsky - great work ethic as always

Defense as a whole - great job. Minimized scoring chances while under pressure most of the game

The bad:

Lundqvist - unfortunately a terrible goal like that undoes much of the good when your team can't score

Dubinsky - not a good effort on the second MTL goal. Came off the bench and did not hustle to the shooter. Probably thought the guy was at a bad enough angle where he couldn't score, but...

Gaborik - I agree something is off. Either he's hurt and it's not being announced, or...I don't know. Just not the same guy.

Stepan on the power play point - too much to ask of this kid. Don't like it.

I never, ever, EVER complain about the refs...I think calls tend to even out over the course of a season. But what the heck on that slew foot with the ref five feet away? Who cares about the power play, I don't want to see Dubinsky turn into poor Jeff Beukeboom.

The meh:

Wolski - has skill for sure, but he does not seem to be a pain in the a** to play against like the rest of the team is. First game, just landed, give him some time...but that's the rep he came in with, and that aspect of his game HAS to improve, or he'll be a shootout specialist only on this team.

The Redden - Whoever's decision it was to not review Montreal's first goal.. After that replay myself and everyone else I was watching it with thought he may have pushed it in with his glove, which he did. If they did review my bad but I dont remember them doing so.

Why are people voting for Wolski? Is he getting credit for at least hitting the post?

Seeing as there's no GDT yet, thought I'd bung this here for tomorrow...

pretty excited about wolski. thrown into a new team, torts also said his conditioning isnt up to par but will get better under torts, and he created chances, had a couple good shots and almost scored a GTG at the end but hit the post.

Not only is Schneider a backup, but he's playing like a bonafide starter (8-0-2).

We really needed to win last night. The Nucks are too good this season. Son of a bi....

Knowing this team we'll either:

A- Play the best game of the season only to lose to a horrible defensive zone pass leading to a Nuck goal.

or

B: Win, go into Montreal with our heads high, and then lose 23:0

I still think we can win tomorrow, though.

Dubi and Hank were the best players for the rangers. Avery, Wolski, Zuccarello also stood out. Our young defensemens played well too.
Drury was awful and I didn't think the Boyle line played well. I would of bumped up Avery to that line last night.

You are obviously entitled to your opinion, but don't you think that's a bit harsh?
He did have 32 saves on the night and some pretty damn good ones. He did let in a bad one, no argument from me. But at some point doesn't someone else on the team have to pick up Hank. God knows he saves their behinds on many occasions.

The good for me
Sauer (really noticed him all over the ice) w/ honorable mentions to Dubi.

The bad
38 shots against?
overall play and result. they didn't press and let MTL back into the game.
