Lecavalier would be a welcome addition however (for the right price).
ugghhh...pls not gagne...but since i said it, it probably will happen.

Lecavs would be interesting as i feel we really need another playmaker besides Kopitar. I would prefer a playmaker with speed, because it seems that is the other missing piece.

There's scouts at games almost every night.

Seriously though he's there watching Purcell, DL wants him back

There is no one on either roster I would want except Semin or Malone.

Malone
Semin
Laich
Fehr

Malone would still be monster for us and Semin well, Semin is just this guy, ya know?

After that I am a big fan of Fehr and the way that his game has developed and also think that Fehr would be a nice fit on our team.

If DL goes after Vinny or Gagme I would truly lose faith in him unless he flat out came right out and said "we are just looking for stop gaps until this offseason so that we can make our serious run next year" or something similar.

Vinny and his 10m per year for the next infinity and beyond (though 14/15) is just simply too much money to make his declining game worth while in my opinion.

Don't you say it Shellz, don't you say it.

Actually, I still like what Knuble brings to the table but we are better at RW then what he would add.

I knew someone was going to say it. Not that I agree with bringing him in, but I still see a good player in him. Like you said though, RW is pretty stacked.

Yep

Are you aware that your wolf/dogs eyes follow my eyes around the room? (or anyone elses eyes) Its a chilling effect that would be scary if the darn thing wasn't so cute.

Gagne didn't want to move out West in the off season, what makes you believe he would move mid-season? He controls where he goes.

I do think there will be a blockbuster in the next few weeks, probably involving one of our better prospects. It's time to cash in some of those chips.

Gagne just scored his 4th goal. One more than Clifford and the same as number as Richardson....forget Simon for 4 million.

Maybe he didn't want to go to THAT team but would come to THIS team?

I wouldn't mind seeing Lecavalier given a shot here, provided the price isn't astronomical....hopefully Tampa would give us a good deal because we'd be taking that contract off their hands.

Kopitar and Lecavalier down the middle would finally give us two legitimate scoring centers.

People actually want Lecavalier? Vincent Lecavalier? The same Lecavalier who is being paid 10 million annually for five more seasons after this one, has a cap hit of 7.7 million for another decade and already is 31 years old? The one who has declining numbers for four straight years and currently has 7 goals, 19 points in 29 games playing behind the second best center in the world?

I know people are sick of Stoll but seriously.

Malone is a terrible idea as well, it's Smyth part 2.

My endorsement lies here. Couldn't have said it better myself. Lecavalier is a disaster of an idea, and Malone isn't much better.

Datsyuk was traded to Tampa?

Not that I want the Kings to pick him up, but I had no clue where else to put this, but O'Sullivan is on waivers again. This has to be his last chance. How many teams are going to take him on and then dump him? Looking back, I can't believe we got Willy for him (and a 2nd)! That trade is a steal at this point.

Yes, good trade now that Williams is healthy. Hope DL can re-sign him.

I've been saying this over and over. I would give him another chance. He has been successful and has had chemistry with our players in the past. He may not fit under Murray's system and may get buried on the fourth line, but his skill is there and is absolutely zero risk. I would take him for free in a second. The locker room is set, Sully can't do anything to the team, either contribute or not and leave the NHL.

According to Hammond, Murray had some harsh words for Poni. He has been awful. That whole swap of Frolov for Poni has back fired...Fro was way more effective on the 3rd line with Zeus-Simmonds than Poni is on any line. If Lombardi could do over, he could've re-signed Frolov for less and kept him.

Somewhat. I would prefer to have Frolov over Poni, but it seems like Fro's health concerns have caught up for him. His career is in jeopardy right now. I would rather have the guy still playing, no matter how few games he actually plays...
