To Fleury's defense, he led his team to the Stanley Cup Finals at 23 and to a Stanley Cup Championship at 24 (including stealing Games 6 and 7 in the finals). Carey Price has - wait, what has Carey Price accomplished?

Seriously? um.... world junior gold, calder cup to name a few

That's highly debatable. I can give you cup finals at 23. But the time they won, who was MVP?
It's tough to lead a time to the championships when you weren't the MVP.
Are you kidding me? Fleury is a more established goalie than Price. Whether you think he's better or not, doesn't matter. Fleury has also accomplished more in this league than Price has in reg. season and playoffs. Good grief.

Saying Fleury led his team is like saying Pittsburgh actually had fans before Crosby and Malkin got drafted.
Well in the first period Montreal got two power plays. After the second power play DD was entering the Penguins zone and Eggoland hit him, DD didn't even have the puck. After that, the refs weren't calling anything on the Penguins you could see it and sure enough six strait against the Habs. League must of been pissed off at Pouliot for scoring the shootout goal last week since they were watching his every move on the ice
Habs started losing energy after that 6 minutes of end to end rushing. Special teams were the killer they didn't score on their PP chances and the Penguins did.
Fleury didnt do anything tonight. Its not like he stole the game or anything.
He doesnt have to do anything tonight. Holy Moly, man. You are a total cry baby. Fleury is not saying "Im so hot" he's just saying "there you go hot stuff." If that was Lapierre (back when he played with us) doing something like Fleury did tonight in some comparable situation you would all love it.
Simple minded M-A the teenager Fleury sucks! Cant stand him at all, he is so lucky to play for a powerhouse like Pittsburg... He is a bottom league starter, weak between the ears giving alot of rebounds.. Price would give Pittsburg the cup every year if he was a Pens..
About the games, way too many penalities and we give our opponents way too much space in the crease.. Guy like Hamrlik cant follow the pace actually, its going too fast for him.. The Pens worked harder and better, they entirely deserve the game.. While Price might have stopped that 3rd goal, I thought he was sharp and made alot of key saves all along the games, the score could have been worst.. When you give the Pens too many 3 on 2 it will eventually hurt..

Really didn't bother me. Not sure why people are so riled up...
Because Price and PK aren't mocking Fleury and Talbot by doing a little stupid ritual at the beginning of a game. There's a huge difference between pulling off something like Price does from time to time, and clearly imitating one opponent's gesture to mock him.
I want someone to deliberately run into Fleury next game. Or better yet, let's let Price settle this his own way.

He has won a cup. Other than that he has been behind a good team, don't kid yourself. Has he carried this team, no. This team has always been carried by Crosby.
If it was Martin Broduer I would respect it and it would be saying something, coming from Fleury it is petty and he isn't a big enough goalie in the NHL yet to think he carries such stature.
I would love to see how well he would be doing on another team, he would be exposed so badly it wouldn't be funny. This is the goalie that lost his #1 position this year against a career back up in Johnson.
He isn't that good, he is built up and hyped up because of the 1st rounders club in Pittsburgh; Crosby, Malkin, Staal and himself.

Brodeur would have never done Fleury's imitation.
That's why Brodeur is considered up here as a person.

Being on a great team does not a great goaltender make. Common mistake, but when you think about it for five seconds, you realize how silly it is.
