I'd feel bad for POS, but he's really got no one to blame but himself. When one or two teams let you go, you can shake it off as not being a good fit. When 4 teams see you as expendable, it's less about the teams and more about the player

He had a couple offensive flashes but little else. He also skipped optionals and that rubbed the coach the wrong way, especially with mediocre play on the ice.

Someone might pick up Salmela, maybe the Islanders or the Oilers. He could still turn into a player and is coming off knee surgery.

He's just not in NJ's future.

Sorry to hear POS didn't work out in Minnesota. That guy just can't seem to put it together.

Interesting to see Mauldin waived. I thought he made a splash when he came into COL.

Mauldin kind of surprises me in Colorado. Seems like a decent 3rd/4th line guy, plus player, 10pts so he chips in offensively, gets some PK time. Maybe just the expendable guy.

I'd love for the Devils to claim Mauldin.

I think this is the end of the line for POS. Next stop is Europe.

Salmela on the other hand is someone I could see getting a lot of interested.

This has to be the end of the line for POS in the NHL. I can't imagine a team taking him on. I'd say he'd be best going to Europe at this point. So sad. I liked him on the Kings, but he hasn't been the same player since we traded him. Some Kings fans were pissed when we trade him and a 2nd for Williams. Now that looks like a freakin' steal.

Does POS have anything left in the tank? Nashville is the place for castoffs! We turn trash into treasure

Stewart probably will be back next game. McLeod should return soon. This makes him expendable. I liked Mauldins play for the most part. Good skater, finished his hits and had a decent shot. But he is replaceable. I could see him being useful for some NHL teams that lack a bit of speed on their fourth line. Mauldin is really fast.

O'Sullivan needs to rediscover his love for the game or leave the game completely.

He can easily earn in Europe. He's made a lot of money for a young man. There's always the option of changing careers if his heart just isn't in hockey.

Jonas Andersson is heading to the KHL. Hopefully the Canucks cancel his contract so they're further away from the 50 contract cap.

Bring him to LA, we need 4th line help. Allows us to send Westie down and gets us some speed.

Next stop should probably be a career change. If he's not showing up to optionals on his 4th team at such a young age, he just doesn't want it.

Carolina had the exact same mentality toward him. While he didn't burn any bridges here, he didn't take advantage of being with his hometown team and with a club that likes reclamation projects. Just kinda loafed his way out of town. It's sad really, he seems like a nice enough kid.

POS hits the fan.

Also, I hope Mauldin gets another chance at in the NHL.

If cleared Mauldin will be the first callup when the injuries strike again. (Knock on Wood)

We suck offensively. O'Sullivan could be maybe kind of good? Doubtful. But I wouldn't be against Ottawa grabbing him...

I would think that if he clears waivers, someone will take him on re-entry.
