Hey, if all of us posters who have lost teeth to hockey contributed said teeth we could probably come up with at least one whole person worth of chompers.

On being smart enough to be a goalie I would count it down to luck Zad. Growing up playing in the tiniest out back middle of nowhere team my goalie (who went on to have a solid IHL/AHL career) got hit in the face with a slapshot breaking his mask and causing the piece to go in and bust out all of his front teeth top and bottom.

It took 1 entire day of traveling by bus to get to a town with a dental surgeon while he lay there in agony. The worst part is that one year later he took a highstick under the mask and knocked out the bridge having to go through it all over again.

DieHard, I did the removable bridge thing right from the start. When the dentist told me that "perm bridges" can be busted out etc I just figured that I would go with the easiest options. Of course after losing them often enough the only one wear is my front upper. It didn't look so bad (if you ask me that is) when I was younger but now in my 40s it could look better. Oh well, I wasn't winning any beauty contests to begin with so who cares?

Then why were you wearing a tiara at the draft?

Why as a distraction, of course. With my looks you've got to do something.

Plus it went with your blouse. Right?

My niece made me an extra special shirt and hat for boxing day (an ironically named event around our household for the obvious reasons) and lets just say that they were very pretty and that there will be no pictures of me wearing either of them god bless her 7 year old heart.

Just watching the start of the Atl/GB playoff game and they had the huge flag for the national anthem. The flag is maybe 50 yd high x 100+ yd wide.

a few ?s:

1. do you think the Falcons own it, or just rent it for big games?

2. how much to buy that thing? $3000 - 5000??

3. when they take it off the field, do they fold it in the triangle like you usually do w/ the US flag - or just give up already and fold it in squares?

That picture freaks me out.

Is the big cat holding its child or is it holding the little cat as a pet?

Way freaky for me.

Its the whole Pluto/Goofy thing come alive with Cats.

Love the avatar of the rabbit on the bike. I have a picture of me racing a bike with a rubber duckie on my helmet but the bunny suit wins it for my money.
