Just Got This E-Mail Forwarded To Me LOL

A guy says to the bartender, "Can my dog and I watch the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game here? My cable is out, and my dog and I always watch the game together."

The bartender replies, "Normally, dogs wouldn't be allowed in my bar, but it's not very busy right now, so you and the dog can have a seat at the end of the bar. But, if there's any trouble with you or the dog, I'll have to ask you to leave."

The guy agrees, and he and his dog start watching the game. Pretty soon, the Leafs manage to score a goal and the excited dog jumps up on the bar, barks loudly, does a back flip and runs over to the bartender and gives him a high-five.

The bartender says, "Wow, that's pretty cool! What does he do when the Leafs win a game ?"

The guys answers, "I have No Idea, I've only had him for 10 years."

What do the Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

A: They both look good until they hit the ice.

What's the difference between the Toronto Maple Leafs
and a cigarette vending machine?

A: The vending machine has Players!

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and whales have in common?

A: They both get totally confused when surrounded by ice.

Why are the Toronto Maple Leafs like Canada Post?

A: They both wear uniforms and don't deliver!

Why doesn't Hamilton have an NHL team?
A: Because then Toronto would want one...

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Argonauts and the Toronto Blue Jays all have in common besides being based in Toronto ?
A. None of them can play hockey.

What do you call 30 millionaires around a TV watching
the Stanley Cup Playoffs?
A. The Toronto Maple Leafs.

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and Billy Graham have
in common?

A. They both can make 20,000 people stand up and yell 'Jesus Christ'.

How do you keep the Toronto Maple Leafs out of your yard?
A. Put up a goal net.

What do you call a Toronto Maple Leaf with a Stanley
Cup ring?
A. A thief.

What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and possums have in common?
A. Both play dead at home and get killed on the road.

How many Toronto Maple Leafs does it take to win a
Stanley Cup?
A. Nobody knows ... And we may never find out.

Ooh, Ooh, I got one too.

A priests, a rabbi and a habs fan walk into a bar. The bartender says "What is this, some kind of joke?"

Yeah but I guess that Canada Post joke was made in light of just how great their service is

I once bashed Canada Post in the lounge saying they were **** and they are **** by the way. This one guy who works for them cried about it and said they have the highest % of packages delivered on time out of any company that does deliveries. I told him that if that's the case why is it I know many people including myself who never do? Why is it whenever I've been to Canada Post they've had piss poor customer service and it's been a terrible experience, at the best an average one?

I don't know if the guy ever responded to be honest I forgot which thread it was in. Either way the dude was on Canada Post's dick like no other. At one point he was trying to say it was Jean-Coutu's fault I got piss poor service from Canada Post employees in that pharmacy. The bad experiences I've had were mostly with the specific Canada Post offices around here in Pierrefonds etc but this one example I had given him was this one time that I went to Jean-Coutu, they have a Canada Post office in the back.

The guy tried to tell me these aren't post employees even though they wear the same uniform, work in an area completely dedicated to Canada Post and don't even in the slightest share the same cashes, uniform, etc that the Jean-Coutu employees wear. Even if it is some sub-contract type deal really all that's relevant is that they're stupid enough to allow another company to tarnish their reputation like that in any event. So either way it's irrelevant.

I don't much like UPS either to be honest. Have had the most success with FEDEX.

Hey guys. So I have my final tomorrow in Sociology. I have been re reading and re reading and re reading the content for the last three weeks. Was wondering if I could get some of your feedback, or even participation with this.

One of the components of the final tomorrow, is to create a question regarding "Canadian society" and the three sociological perspectives (Structural functionalist, conflict theorist, and a symbolic interactionist) and answer it.

So the question I was thinking of, was how the three perspectives would approach the role of hockey in Canadian society, and explain the differences in terms of the various approaches to the analysis of hockey.

So to see if this is a good question for my final... I wanted to ask you guys to try and take a crack at it I'll give you my answer if I get some sort of responses. Even one is good!

So here's the question, formed properly I plan to ask:

Discuss how a structural functionalist, a conflict theorist, and a symbolic interactionist would approach the role of hockey in Canadian society. When discussing it, make clear the main differences among these three perspectives, and how these diferences are related to the various approaches to the analysis of hockey."

Be gentle guys! I'm flippin' nervous for tomorrow.

OT Joe Rogan's Podcasts.

I've been listening these podcasts for the past few months, and I personally believe this is some of the most interesting and real stuff out there. He covers alot of interesting topics from evolution to the questions of the universe and everything else in between. I understand some of this stuff is quite "out there" but definitely give it a shot. For some of you it may even show you the world in a different light, but if not its quality time wasted. Listen to one for at least 5-10 mins and I wouldn't be suprised if you listen to the whole thing. Just click the picture and Enjoy.

I love Joe Rogan's Podcast, I get so much information out of it (the kind of really interesting info that if you don't look for it, you'll never come across it, so it's pretty cool).

I also listen to the Adam Carolla podcast and to the Kevin and Bean podcast, but those are mostly comedy but still pretty interesting.

I wanted to do a soundbite of moments in those podcasts where they were talking about Montreal, but just never had a time to do it...

But I remember Joe Rogan talking about the incident when Koscheck said that we would lose against the Penguins, how we are really crazy about our Habs, people runing over his taxi after a Habs win, and that he never seen a group of people so passionate about their team.

And Kevin and Bean (a LA radio show) where here for the 93 cup win, and one of them had a kings jersey at the beginning of the game, he went bying a Habs jersey between period because he was afraid of Habs fans. And they talked about the riot after the game.

Adam Carolla talked about how he liked coming to the Just for Laugh festival in Montreal, and how he liked going to the gentleman's clubs with his friend Jimmy Kimmel.

I have a friend who goes to this gym. He knows one of the girls in this video.

They haven't taken seriously at all when they made the commercial. I'm pretty sure all the people had so much fun when they made it.
