I just got home from the game tonight and the atmosphere was incredible! I missed the game against Montreal but between the Canes game and tonight the atmosphere felt like a playoff game. The Garden is definitely back and I think the rest of the season will be intense. They still have all 3 against Philly and 2 against Pittsburgh and the Garden will be Rocking! Tonight was the best crowd of the year.

I have been to a lot of games this year, this was definitely the best crowd of the year. It was quiet a little bit at the beginning of the 3rd, but the entire night was just like a bomb awaiting to arupt. There was a quiet person in my section, and I wasnt even in the 400's.

About to watch the game on MSG right now to see what I missed. LGR!

It was great tonight. My 2nd game of the year, went on a whim, and I'm glad I did. Didn't quite understand the USA chants though.

Had a 'Nucks fan in front of me, he was thoroughly pissed.

I am not entirely sure the chant starters fully grasp the fact that the majority of the Rangers roster does not come from the USA.

I don't think it is a chant of USA because the Rangers players.. its because most of the Ranger fans live in NY, USA. Most of the Canucks fans live in Canada. So they were chanting USA more against the other Canadian residents that support the Canucks.. get it? I thought it was funny.

Hoping the atmosphere carries over to the game Sunday which it should. Rangers - Flyers matchup with both teams playing well should create a loud crowd.

Yea, as was pointed out in the thread about the fight in the stands, the USA chants started when the few groups of ********* Canucks fans started acting obnoxious.

Actually, no. I don't get it. I guess we should expect a "New York!" chant when the Devils come to MSG.
