We tried to take a night off, almost got away with it, and got burned in the end.

On to the next game.

This! None of the D played their usual game; Leggy's line and Smitty (and maybe Wade) looked like the only Fs out there actually playing most every shift. Long win streak, little tired from travel, looking ahead to back-to-back with the defending champs - a full-house Sat and some early jump fix it all right up.

First off, outstanding job handling the mojo Predschik. You got the lead with 6 game winning streak. The only other active member with a streak is the minimalist stylings of Token.

Secondly, you need to get kicked once in a while to get yourself mean. It can be a good thing. Like my man lil' Wayne said, 'Kick me while I'm down. I'll got break your leg.'

Now, let's see if the Preds can wake up against Chicago.

That's sweet....

Now if we can get Token to do a GDT and see if he's still got the mojo.

Just don't ask me to do it. I'm due but 0-4 says no.

Hell, if this looks like a pair of losses maybe I should do a reverse Mojo?

Dropping by to say good game. I wish the Preds were a little further south, and in the southeast division. There would be some good wars for sure...there is a little edge there when these teams meet compared to other inter Conference matchups I see the Panthers play.

That game was ugly. Mentally they were a stride behind the Panthers all night. Still could have won it. That goal they scored when Shea made the rush and was left out of position when we didn't score ticked me off... A good scoring chance, but the rest of the guys on the ice couldn't do their part to hold the fort.

I'll bet when Legwand makes a good move with the puck he enjoys looking up and seeing Svatos or Wilson crashing the net, instead of Smithson or Ward... And the dee pays attention to Svatos and Wilson, opening up a little space for Leggy. It's so refreshing.
