Puck Daddy Looks into Penguin PIM / Fights

Short but interesting read. It's awesome how Uncle Gary has made us the most penalized so that other teams won't realize the refs are favoring us all the time!

People don't focus on the number of penalty minutes that are assessed to us, but solely on the number of penalties other teams are assessed when playing against us.

How many times have we stated on the main board that we are one of the league leaders in PIM'S, yet people immediately disregard that because we also happen to have a lot of PP opportunities as well. Apparently it's justifiable for us to be a team that takes a lot of penalties, but the idea of us luring the opposition into penalty trouble is just too ridiculous for some people to comprehend.

lol that was terribly written...they really do let anyone with a computer and fingers write stories these days.

With that said, there is no sense in using facts to prove a point on the main board.

He was tring to say "hey look I figured out how to sort through stats today!"
And "the Pens fight alot.....really?"

Then "see these are the teams that fight alot the last 3 years........cool huh?"

Then he probably ate some cookies with warm milk and took a nap sastified by his hard days work never a worry that maybe articles should have some sort of point.

Living the dream.....

You guys don't like the Puck Daddy? Considering the near total lack of talented American hockey writers in the mainstream media I think he's decent. Hell of a lot better than Rossi and unlike same his role is pretty well defined (editorial). This story is nothing special, just a neat and tidy collection of facts for your HFB databases when arguing with clueless people.
