What an atrocious 3rd period. That's the worst 20 mins of hockey I have ever ****ing seen. They should be embarrassed. I'm not even happy about the win. **** you Martin, you call yourself a defensive coach. They look like chickens with their heads cut off. Unreal and pathetic. I can't even fathom how terrible it was. No killer instinct.

If you take the game as a whole Price was pretty average and was in at least partial fault for both goals, but he more than redeemed himself at the end there. I actually think the stars were solid choices. The only reason it came down to that was because the Rags won the goalie battle.

Somehow, Price should have gotten Lundqvist's star...

The team played so good in two periods they left Price bored so they decided to give him some work in the third

Yea I agree. Being great for one period and decent to mediocre for the other two doesn't really deserve star mention. He was clutch and that's important.

CAR-EY! CAR-EY! CAR-EY! He saves us in the third, but you know what? Lundqvist saved the Rangers in the second. PK played an awesome game IMO.

Love beating the rangers simply because of their fans who have sort of inferiority complex to our fan base if you read their GDTs against us.

A perfect night.

And Trolli Jokinen beats the Leafs in a shootout. Great Saturday night in the hockey world!

-Excellent first 40 minutes and a pathetic 3rd period.
-Lundqvist was amazing.
-Subban deserved a star a lot more than Wiz IMO.
-Spacek and Weber were pretty bad.
-The PP was great.
-It was nice to see some emotion from AK.
-Cammy was so-so.
-This team can't score EN goals

I don't know how their system works but if not for Price's huge performance in the third, there's no way we come out with a win. We were stuck in our zone and it was very ugly.

Anyway, who cares about the 3-star selection, right? We won!

If Lundqvist doesn't stand on his head, the third period would've been garbage time.

Well I guess what I take what I said earlier back.

CBC gave the stars to 1. Price 2. Lundquist 3. Kostitsyn.

My wife yelled at me at least six times in the third, "get out of where?" LOL

Just fire it off the glass and get it out.

Not at all. Lundqvist is the only reason why the Rags were still in it at the end.

I agree with you on everything here.

Spacek and Weber played about 12 minutes apiece, ouch.

The Molson cup cares.

But I agree. 2 pts >>>>>>>>>>>>> 3 star selection.
