I went to the 2 games in London when the Kings played the last time. It was a terrific experience, but teams that start their seasons in Europe tend to struggle that season. The Kings were pretty darn terrible when they returned from that trip. I wouldn't want to see them go again.

That's been my impression too. I'd be curious to see the stats on it, but it sure seems like with a lot of the teams that go to Europe it takes them practically half a season to recover.

If they were asked, hopefully the Kings can politely say they'd rather give another team a chance at going.

Well, they are the biggest entertainment company in the world.

My concern as well. Our team the year of the London trip was not that strong, but it would be very interesting to see a stats pack on that. (Are you listening JT, I just ASKED FOR THE STATS!)

P.S. I hate your avatar, he was such a goon.

Saw this on twitter, from a interview Vanek did.

dchesnokov:

Vanek:"There r rumors we’re supposed 2 stay 4 10 days in Mannheim, play some exhibitions there & then open the season [there] vs the Kings."
