How about this top 6 for the next couple of games?

I posted this in Caps vs Nucks GTD, but didn't get a response. I was thinking about bumping up Johansson to play on the first line with OV and Backstrom. IMO, two puck possessors with OV could be magic, but I am not sure if Johansson would work out on the wing... and top 6 should look something like this.

OV-Backstrom-Johansson
Fehr-Laich-Knuble

Thoughts?

Fehr is out for a month+, so that's a no-go.

As for the Backstrom-MoJo pairing, if the team is ok with Laich at center I guess it'd be worth a shot, but I'm not sure if they are.

I was thinking maybe Perrault up top with Backstrom and Ovechkin. Keep Johansson centering the second line. He hasn't done much lately, but I think his energy could bring a new dimension to the top line and could help him out also.

Tell him to hang by the side of the net like Briere/Crosby and scoop up rebounds.

I wouldn't classify Johansson as a "puck possessor". Definitely not a strength of his game at this point.

I feel like if there's anything that can get 8 and 19 going, it's worth a shot. Johansson is an interesting player to throw in with those guys, because he has both speed and hustle.

The other lines.. who cares at this point, they won't be putting up points without Semin anyway. I wouldn't put Laich at center, but whatever, go for it

I'd hand off top minutes to the bottom two lines, they actually look like they give a **** lately.
