If both goalies don't stand on their head, Boyle is an easy 3rd star tonight.

Jordan Weal. Solid offensive prospect, but he's like 5'8, 160.

I hope we sign BBB to a long term contract. The guy has jam and can pot 20 a year. He just needs to focus on his offensive game this offseason. Maybe he can hire an actual sniper. I mean his skating improved a lot when he hired the figure skater. I guess it could work.

Boyle has so many raw, unpolished talent for a guy who's 6'7 it's unreal. Great shot, soft hands, good skater, etc.

He should work on his shot and opening up space for himself with his size this summer. He could become a really important player if he refines all of his offensive talent.

Pushing through a crowd of Canadiens, Brian Boyle proves most critics wrongs yet again, showing he's now mentally 6'7 as well as physically. The only thing that can stop him and his army is the luck of Les Glorieux and sour Torter sauce.

You just can't not love this guy. Forget about the production and all that. That is great, but he just seems like he's one of the more popular guys in the room. Great pickup and I hope he sticks around for a long time.

The sad thing is Boyle is exactly what the Rangers thought they were getting in Jessiman. Similar learning curve, similar length of time to develop. They just picked the wrong project.

That's so true. It only took an extra 3rd to get it right

If Boyle pots 20+ this season I think it's real hard for them not to re-sign him.

When the Rangers acquired Boyle last off-season I said he would be the Rangers 3rd line center by the end of last year. He had an up-and-down year last year but he looked like he started to get it towards the end of the year before he got hurt. This year he is showing why I was so high on the pick-up.

People were complaining because they saw him as a total bust. Interesting turnaround.

Team USA at the next Olympics for Boyle??? What a great trade that Sather pulled off.

6'7 245 pounds and could get even better. He is 26 years old, I am curious how many
years Sather should sign him for.

that would be a steal. If Boyle gets 25-30 goals this year, I would think he is looking in 2.5 million range or more.

Can anyone photoshop Boyle on a cover of teen beat???

A loss like tonight really showed us who's got what we want...and Boyle's on top of that list.

two quick questions regarding Boyle If you sign Richards or trade for a center what do you do with Boyle?

as i see it you have a few things going on for the future of the centers...

Richards/Trade
Stepan
Anisimov
Boyle now he either stays at center and goes down to fourth line or would you move Boyle over to wing?

or do we not acquire a center and have what we have now

Stepan
Ansimov
Boyle
XXXX

and we move Anisimov in a deal...or shift Anisimov to wing idk anyone with some thoughts?

on top of that he's got a better plus minus than Anisimov and 1 more point...so I suppose a 3rd option is

Richards/Trade
Stepan
Boyle
XXXX

I think Boyle's future is on the wing anyways so if they acquire a center or not, to me, it doesnt matter. He should be looked at as a wing for the future. Something like:

Dubinsky-Richards-Gaborik
Wolski-Stepan-MZA
Boyle-Anisimov-Callahan(shut-down, 2b line)
Avery-Drury-Prust
Boogaard

Christensen traded
Fedotenko re-signed if he takes about the same salary AND if Drury is bought out/traded
Prospal, Frolov, Gilroy let go
Kreider, Werek, Bourque, Hagelin, Campbell signed and in the AHL

Staal-Girardi
Sauer-MDZ
Eminger-McDonagh
Veteran 7th
