Like who? All of them have been pretty good, save for Ballard at times and I don't really see us trading one away unless we really need to...TBH, I think one of the moveable assets we have on defense (Bieksa, Ehrhoff, Salo) we could get more than Galiardi and a 3rd.

I think at this point we'd be best moving Raymond & Schroeder/Shirokov for a team looking to get a lot younger but who has playoff experience. Alfie has been brought up but I don't think Gillis would be interested in that contract.
That being said, we should be looking for someone like that who is a UFA this year.
Preferrably: Will drive hard to the net, some playoff experience, can be effective on the powerplay, is a good set-up guy.
Let's see: Samuelson / will drive to the net, has a Stanley Cup ring, can be effective on the powerplay, is a good setup guy and proven playoff producer
Lets see: Torres / will drive to the net, been to the Stanley Cup finals, streaky but can be effective on the powerplay, streaky but can put up points
Lets see: Hanson / will drive to the net, has playoff experience, has been used on the powerplay, better setup gut than goal scorer
What would it take to get a deal done? (Under the cap)
To get a deal done: trade Raymond for a #2 Dman (Salo), picks and or prospects and Cap space or scratch / move Raymond to the 3rd line.
Alex tanguay at the deadline, ufa at the end of the year, cheap, playing really well this year and has playoff experience! I think he would be a nice fit on your second line.

That actually sounds like a good deal. If Salo stays on LTIR until the post-season then we don't need to clear any salary either...
