Kirk Luedeke who writes the excellent draft blog

Moulson to Boston rumor? If true, would expect for a 2011 draft pick and/or middling prospect of some sort-- the Isles are stocking up picks

Boston, with a lot of prospects in system plus extra picks for 2011, likely to part with a few before 2011 draft rolls around.

Don't see the point for Boston, Ryder's on pace for similar number of point as Moulson and slightly less goals.

kindof a lateral move there.

I'm guessing the Bruins would move a defenseman to the Islanders and then turn around and move a forward for a premier defenseman.

The timing is odd, though, the Bruins are rolling right now.

Didn't Moulson just say he wanted to stay an Isle?

Very odd, considering the Isles were just starting to talk to Moulson about an extension. Wang is already scared off?

Could the Islanders be looking for a quality center and move Tavares back to wing. Boston has a surplus of those. Maybe Krejci for Moulson?

Not Even close in trade value... Krejci is way better than Moulson.

I see Stuart, Hamil and a 2nd

Cap space for the Bruins to try to make another deal (PMD). Moulson fits better on the Bruins in my mind, more grit and net presence than Ryder who's basically a sniper.

That is why the Ilse's are trading him. You would have to be insane to want to stay and the Islanders don't want any insane people "playing" on their team.

Why would you trade your #1 centre for a rental player
