Just wondering about Ashton. is he very fast? How is his hands?
How attached is TBay to him? what is he worth in a trade?

i dont think ashton will come cheap to vancouver. I could see a trade involving Cory Schnieder from Van enticing SFY tho to make a deal. Maybe not for just ashton, but it would be in that ballpark i feel

m... I think we should go for a d-man instead of a goalie (if Tokarski is what we expect)... Edler or Ehrorff signed could be available (in off-season)?

I dont see Yzerman letting him go this early. Ashton is extremely good along the boards, I watched him throughout the WJC that has just passed. Big game player aswell and has the ability to bury the puck and make solid hits.

Why would Vancouver want to move Schneider right now? There's no motivation to do this since Schneider is signed for another season.
Ashton for Schneider would seem like a loss for Tampa. I like Ashton, good kid, but he hasn't developed his offensive game enough. Everything else is good, offensively he needs work.

Schneider will not be traded this season, period. end of story
