NYI GM Garth Snow has indicated to Moulson camp he wants to sign player to contract, but negotiations have not yet really begun.

Thats what i was thinking as well, but figured it would cost a little more. Perhaps Nodl and a 3rd would do the trick. Zherdev would also be available.

No.

Our fanbase will not be happy until we have twelve top-6 forwards. Then, once that goal is achieved, we will petition the league to let us carry an extra roster player so we can add a 13th top-6 forward.

1) Fanbases don't improve teams...general managers do.

2) Sometimes giving up assets for things you don't need doesn't make your team better and, in fact, can have the opposite affect.

I'd love to have Moulson in Philly, but in all likelihood, he's going to stay in New York. I like that he actually wants to play for the Isles; that's the kind of player you need and want for a rebuilding franchise like New York.
