No Wheeler has more value than Kaberle at the moment . As for my age lets just put it this way as I read your posts it becomes very clear that I have forgotten more about the game than you will ever know . Excuse me I must now go and see what prospect the Bruins should get in 2011 in the top 5 with the second first from the Leafs

Dude's a marshmallow.
He's turned things around this year, you don't watch B's games night in and night out so how would you know?

Please explain to me how Kaberle (Top 2 D-man) has less value than Wheeler ( a 3rd line forward currently? Its not like Wheelers racking up points

Yeah, I'm not sure I get that.

Wheeler has more upside and a better contract (in the sense that he's not a UFA at season's end), but Kaberle is a better hockey player right now.

Wheeler is not a UFA at season end, but rather a RFA. wheeler is also much younger,we are talking value when we talk trades

Dear Toronto Maple Leafs:

Please stop improving the Boston Bruins.

Sincerely,

A Sens fan

LOL what? Okay then um I'll trade you Bozak for Chara. Bozak is younger and has potential to grow. Chara is getting old, i think hes getting osteoporosis so maybe you should throw in a 2nd. Your argument makes no sense.

1) The fact that Boston would most likely benefit having Kaberle on the blueline during the playoffs.

2) If Kaberle Resigns??

3) Age doesnt mean ANYTHING

4) Wheeler isn't Morrow, and he wont in anyway improve the Leafs

We were having a pretty decent discussion in this thread. I guess school must have let out.

When you decide to dish it out, you should expect a return volley. Leafers have been resorting to insults today, insisting that anyone that disagrees with them on Kaberle's value must be, what, 12 years old, or was it 10?

You're right. They aren't comparable at all.

Wheeler averages 15:28 per game, 1:50 on the PP
Kulemin, 17:34 and 2:45.

A minute more per game on the PP, and 2 minutes a game. Kulemin has 23 even strength points. Wheeler, 19.

Offensively, these 2 players are about as identical as you can get.
Kulemin has stepped up his game considerably but that only counts when talking about Bruin players like Lucic...I digress. Facts is facts 16 goals for Kuly would be tops on the Bruins. Compared to 10 for Wheeler.

You would not, could not, will not get Kulemin in a trade for Wheeler, so I hardly see how they have equal value.
