I apologize guys

I missed the first half of the game, and I saw the Habs were up 4-0, so I ran home to watch the rest...you know what happened next.

My fault. Should've resisted temptations

Phew! We need those two points. Not happy with the last half of the game but will take the points and run.

I don't get it tho, arent the stars supposed to be voted during the whole game by the fans? You're gonna tell me Subban was first star all along? Or in the final 5 min from his goal to the stars there was a massive vote on him? lol

No SO, but Price does get the win though.

I know being a fan means having fun by overracting, but at some point, you have to realize we've seen this movie before, and recognize where it comes from and what it means.

Games like this happen and don't particularly mean anything. It's very rare that a team will get a 4-0 lead because they are playing especially well and, likewise, it's very rare that a team will get 4 unanswered goals against because they're playing especially badly. I had my spiel all ready about how a blowout "statement game" means nothing at 4-0, and now, well, I'm just laughing my rear off.

It's hockey. Stuff happens. Goalies have bad stretches. Sometimes you get 4 goals on 8 chances, then they have 8 chances back and score 4 times back.

Collapses, blowouts, "statement games", they're actually the least meaningful games there are. Hockey is too low-scoring a game, and parity is too strong, for stuff like that to be anything more than flukes. 7-0 games mean nothing, nor do 4-0 leads nor 4-goal comebacks.

Kipper had a bad game, the Habs built a big lead, Auld had a bad stretch, the Habs ran around their own zone a bit, they won it in OT. No harm done.

Bank the two points, forget the game, move on to the next.

Subban played like a no1, star defensemen tonight. If he has the potential to play like this for full seasons when he's older, well, wow.
