i want price to lead the league in wins so im thrilled

I know being a fan means having fun by overracting, but at some point, you have to realize we've seen this movie before, and recognize where it comes from and what it means.
Games like this happen and don't particularly mean anything. It's very rare that a team will get a 4-0 lead because they are playing especially well and, likewise, it's very rare that a team will get 4 unanswered goals against because they're playing especially badly. I had my spiel all ready about how a blowout "statement game" means nothing at 4-0, and now, well, I'm just laughing my rear off.
It's hockey. Stuff happens. Goalies have bad stretches. Sometimes you get 4 goals on 8 chances, then they have 8 chances back and score 4 times back.
Collapses, blowouts, "statement games", they're actually the least meaningful games there are. Hockey is too low-scoring a game, and parity is too strong, for stuff like that to be anything more than flukes. 7-0 games mean nothing, nor do 4-0 leads nor 4-goal comebacks.
Kipper had a bad game, the Habs built a big lead, Auld had a bad stretch, the Habs ran around their own zone a bit, they won it in OT. No harm done.
Bank the two points, forget the game, move on to the next.
U have been watching our habs too long. LOL
Other teams score more than 2 and a half goals a game you know.
We just seem to not be able to score. Other teams score 5 or 6 goals many times per year. Habs have no chance to do that with Martin in Charge.
JM will be happy with the 2 points but will for sure give his team an earful for blowing a 4 goal lead.. A collapse like that is unacceptable for a team fighting for a playoff spot.. Watching the Habs play since early December as been real bad for one's health..
Kudo's to the Flames for not quitting after being down 4-0..
I don't get it tho, arent the stars supposed to be voted during the whole game by the fans? You're gonna tell me Subban was first star all along? Or in the final 5 min from his goal to the stars there was a massive vote on him? lol
he was still having a hell of a game BEFORe he scored the winner
but yes, Ot winner gets you auto 1 st star
just like a 2 goal night or 3 goal night usualy gets you 1st auto
