Seems like it happens to guys when they are having career years. What I am dreading is that this will be a repeat of Horcoff's all-star season. It's one thing to lose Whitney in a career year, but it's even worse if he comes back next season playing at a shadow of his former self.
I thought that with my favourite Footbal team Borussia Dortmund a few years ago, and now we lead the league with 12 points ahead of the 2nd place. It can go very fast in sports.
And when you have some success you mostly don't have much injured players. Probably a psychic thing too.

Provided they are the right players, switch the bold statement around and your're probably right (which in fact means I disagree with you, just politely)
Too bad for Whitney, he was having a solid campaign, hopefully his timetable allows him to be ready well in advance of training camp. Good chance for petry, chorney and so on. I love the way Petry has taking his opportunity and ran with it. Chorney is vastly improved his game in my opinion from last year but there are still some deficiencies in his game that he will have challenges overcoming but he is solid competitor night in and night out.

Horcoff's "All-Star" season was an anomaly, not likely to ever be repeated. Whitney has had great years before and is still pretty young, he can be this good again.
