I am so thrilled for JP. He has done so much for the organization off the ice, adopted Nashville as home and has not complained about getting shuttled around from line to line. And he is with linemates who seem to know how to get him to shoot.

JP was in the top two on the team in points when he started getting demoted down the lines last season. Give him a couple of hungry youngsters with at least a little bit of talent and he can still put up some numbers.

So when we get healthy how do we send down Halischuk? He is like Spaling with more offense.

Also if JP has found himself we may have a very dangerous playoff team.

We're still a ways away from getting healthy up front. I'll worry about who gets shuffled down in a week or two when our first guy might be back.

Jeez, Bryz just kinda went down and quit on that lay, guess he was expecting a pass.
then again, it was 3 on 1, so I was also.

Send a message via AIM to Seth Lake
I know JP had a hat trick and I saw Hornqvist score a pair himself, but the bottom line is the Coyotes walk away with that game if not for 32 saves by Pekka Rinne and very few rebounds.

Rinne should be the first star tonight!!!

I stand corrected, I sit quietly in my shame and humiliation. I would like to take this time to apologize to the Nashville Predators for my shallow and uncalled for comments. I would say that I am completely impressed by the heart and balls shown in this one.... I predicted this team to pack it in and sulk like little girls. You did not. I shall never again over react.... Hey O'Brien - You can still lick my left one!!!!!!!!

Could not agree more! I watched your game tonight, and he was spectacular! Not to take anything away from 71 or 27, but Pekka was awesome!!!

I was one of the 6 or 7 fans at the game, and I have to say that the Preds play a better game with a 2-goal lead than the Coyotes did so successfully last year. The worst part (as a Coyotes fan) was how recognizable the system was, and how it was being played to perfection in the third period. Good game, though. Coyotes had more shots, but you guys had the better scoring chances, and buried them.

Go figure, I can't see any of the game, I come in listening to the radio feed after we've already scored two goals. As I'm listening we give up two goals, and then I leave for work and later find out that we win with JP having a hatty.

At least we won!

Thanks, although to be honest I was worried after giving up that 2 goal lead especially as it seemed momentum was swinging heavily in your direction.

It's funny that despite all our injuries we find ways to score, not that I'm complaining mind you.

You've got to love JP perseverance despite Trotz's best effort to bury him. What other coach takes their best points producer for two years in a row and puts him on the 4th line. It goes to show you that sometimes goal scorers irritate coaches because they want the grinders who work hard with no results on the scoresheet to get credit and minimize the ability of the scorer. Because you can't teach someone how to score they have it or they don't
