Sean Couturier

Anyone has a scouting report on him, and when is he draft eligible?

Couturier is eligible for 2010-2011 draft.
Time will tell if he has first round stuff. If Couturier put some weight, he could develop into a power forward. Skating is a question mark.

My bad, Couturier will be eligible in June 2011 (not for next draft).

Sean Couturier

John Moore, who is the radio broadcaster for the Halifax Mooseheads, has recently uploaded a video of him interviewing Sean Couturier. There is also a short clip of his father talking about his playing style compared to his. It is exciting to see how well Couturier is doing this season and his ability to play a prominent role for Drummondville. Next year will be a special season to follow him in as he is eligible for the NHL Entry Draft. Plus, I think he has a good chance of representing Canada in the WJC as an 18 year old.

I believe Sean has already turned 17 this season, so I think the beginning of the video is incorrect.

You really think he will be good enough to go first overall next year? I was seeing him as a top five pick, with the possibility of going top three. But I'm not really aware of the other potential draft picks for next season yet. From what I have heard, it will be a relatively weak year in the draft. When the Q does produce a first overall pick, they tend to be generational talent

A bit early to call him a 1rst overall, but he has the potential...Next year, he is going to destroy the league as he is already dominating it right now! This kid is the real deal!
