I really believe a call-up of Loktionov or Moller is in order. You can't put up the goal numbers they have over the last 10 games or so and just keep banging your head against a wall.
I really think Loktionov's vision could help the powerplay out and, due to his size, I believe he should be a LW, especially if you are planning on having Kopitar/Schenn as your 1-2 center punch.

Not to toot my own horn, but I've BEEN saying this and I'm glad we're on the same boat.
The offensive needs creativity and if I'm being honest Loktionov and Moller are two of our more creative players in the whole organization.. Andrei would be a significant help to our horrid Power Play.
There is zero chance Loktionov stays a center in this organization. I've said it all along he's a winger convert.
Word from Manchester is that he's playing on the LW with Cliche at center and Moller on the RW. And another thing I heard is Loktionov got assigned to Ontario in case Simmonds/Smyth can't go, I think it was from the KingsCast twitter

Yup Rich just confirmed the Lokti move, I updated the thread with it.
Loktionov or Moller should have been called up months ago to play with Kopitar....

Kopitar should still have Brown on his wing in my opinion. We need to change aspects of the system, not just the lines. We have changed the lines constantly and we aren't improving. Instead of piecing players together based on what they do, they need to get more desperate and experiment with different systems with lines. I would rather see Brown-Kopitar-Williams and see if we can get some scoring, but Murray needs a big body in front of the net blah blah... I don't care about the mixture of players, I don't care if we play along the boards or run and gun, just put the puck in the net, and our current group isn't doing that. We need something different, new combinations, and new fresh blood that has urgency of needing to play well to just stay in the NHL, let along the playoffs...
Lokitonov should be called up. When he got sent down, he was starting to click with Brown/Kopi. Then Lombardi says he wants Loktionov to be a pure center (the reason for him to go back to the AHL) and now they're coverting him into a winger.
Throw him on the 1st line with Kopitar/Brown. He improved every single game when he was in the NHL and had a flair to him that none of our other 1st line lefties have done this year.
So the reality is that although we've convincingly beaten some very good teams and looked great doing it, its not just a slump or a slide, but we really aren't as good as the start and those "great" games have made us think we are.
Well, as the saying goes, the first game of the rest of the season starts tonight, and every game, and more particularly every game against team above us, is crucial.
The hill we need to climb is getting steeper, and the next few opponents are no pushovers. Honestly, I dobt think its an overstatement to say the season hangs in the balance in the games left before the All-star game. Overstatement? I dont think so.

I honestly think that it's a massive case of overachieving and then what is now underachieving. The team isn't as bad as the current streak portrays, but not as good to be consistently 12-3.
