Brodie Dupont Recalled

I don't have a link to confirm this. I just heard Torts say it during the post game press conference.

Entire Connecticut Whale team called up to replace injured Rangers. All jokes aside this is brutal.

i hope he gets his first nhl game. i wonder if he can be a 4th line winger that can kill penalties. a bigger version of prust..he never really got much attention.

Meh. I'd rather Kolarik play, he has talent.

I guess Dupont is getting called up to be the extra forward. I would think Kolarik replaces Fedotenko in the lineup.

I would tend to agree, but I want a look at Dupont. He's served well in Connecticut.

So much for calling up Grachev....

So at least unlike the Devils injuries don't slow this team down..... there is depth for once in a long time.

Grachev has a nice streak going in the A, it's probably best they don't mess with that. He has confidence issues and right now scoring a buttload no matter where it is will be helpful for his development. Personally I am glad they didn't call him up.

They should send Weise back down if he's not needed. Love Dupont getting the call.

What position has Dupont been playing? Whale website has him listed at LW.

Man I bet MDZ is in Hartford bashing his head against the wall given that we are missing so many forwards that even Brodie Dupont is getting a shot with the big club, while somehow our D corps remains totally intact!

Don't speak too soon, eminger didn't look good on the bench after orr tried to ax his hand off.

Edit: eminger says he's fine

I think people underrate Dupont. He will fit really well in this style and can be good as a replacement type player for Feds.
