4th round pick and one of them is yours, though you could probably wait and grab one via Free Agency.

OP, we do not want Komisarek at all. If we want a pylon, we can get one at Canadian Tire.

Oilers get had in this trade, no way would I trade Gilbert for those 3, plus Toronto need all the picks they can get. Why Orr, whats wrong with Macintyre, he is a lot tougher than Orr.

Komisarek and Phaneuf are great in Toronto.

Ottawa has exactly what you need, but unfortunately not much talent to protect

Neil (2.0mil cap hit - #4RW, one of the best light-heavies in the league, good for 250+ hits, ~10 fights, 5g, 20pts)
Fisher (4.2mil cap hit - #2C, currently playing injured but is usually good for 200+ hits, 20-25g, 40-50pts, 52+% FO%, 1-3 fights as a pretty good middleweight)
Carkner (700k cap hit - #6D, top 10 fighter in the league good for 20 fights, 100+ hits, 1-2g, 10pts)

Cost: Astronomical as this would make Jarko Ruutu and Jesse Winchester the toughest players on the Sens....

We'll give you Cogliano, Fraser, Stortini, and MacIntyre then you guys can grab a couple first round picks in row to have the talent up front we have.

How about Jody "Top Shelf" Shelley for Khabibulin and his designated driver?

Don't you pay attention? 'Boozin has no designated driver.

As for Carkner for a 2nd, how about Calgary's 3rd and Curtis Foster?

Are you kidding? All of the Oilers have designated drivers for the playoffs. Then they hit their second shots with designated fairway irons.

I want Steve Ott, though not sure why Dallas would let go such an effective player.

Yeah, i didn't even really consider grabbing him a realistic possibility. Normally i'd say the same about a guy like Tootoo too, but the with the whole rehab thing i figure a change of scenery would be good.

As an isles fan, I loved him. Met him a few times being as his house in long beach was 3 away from my ex's aunts. Real chill guy. He is a solid player whom I feel if he shot more, could net 15-20 regularly bc he's got a cannon. He sticks up for his teammates and prolly is one of, if not the best, middleweights out there.

Isles have konopka, but not sure if he available. Obviously if you overpay, snow wilL deal him, but he's money on faceoffs, he'll fight anyone & he's pretty decent on the pk. Not the normal combo for a guy who's always at the top of the nhl in fighting majors. Oh or you can just have gillies...for nada.

they do need an ott or umberger/two-way gritty player that will try and hurt someone....as far as RHD goes....they may have Plante next year....

now, of course....Landeskog could be that grinder for the top six/nine.

Not that I wouldn't want Klein or Tootoo, just not for Gagner.

I would like something more like this:

To NSH:
Penner
Cogliano/Brule
2nd

To EDM:
Franson
Tootoo
Smithson

see i don't see nashville wanting cogs or brule and they have to deal with a weber deal this summer so penner contract makes him too costly. i would want to see gagner go but going forward where does he fit on the team? specifically is Hall down the middle works out. Hall is 1st line, Horcoft is a great 3rd liner who can play on the 2nd, (even the first) then you have Lander for next year or potentially Couterier , gagner isnt a shut down guy, and with all the kids he might be the odd man out, this way you get value now before the numbers upfront become and issue and with Klein and something on D for Souray or maybe even him next year's the defense look pretty solid as well.

Next Year

Hemsky Hall Penner
Eberle (2011 1st rounder)/Lander Paajarvi
Tootoo Horcoft Jones

I'm sorry, we aren't trading our best Centre to get Tootoo as the main piece... I mean, Klein is great too...

No... just no.
