JANUARY SCHEDULE:
QUOTES TO NOTE:
It feels good, especially after you get the 1st one. It was a big relief to get the monkey off my back.
We talked about getting off to a good start and we did. Aves, Artie and Hank were great.
It is a huge win for us.
- Marian Gaborik
Once we scored our first two goals we took over the game completely. We did a good job. Our PK was really good.
It was a great win and a great way to bounce back from two tough losses.
- Henrik Lundqvist
That line was good.
Sean made some good plays, Artie made some good plays, Gaby scored some goals and made some plays himself.
It wasn't one particular guy.
- John Tortorella

That's the most vague and general quote i've ever seen, Torts.
Anyway, carry on the momentum from tonight into tomorrow. I don't want it to be a nail-biter into OT again. Convincing win, please guys?

Looking at that lineup, I cant help but wonder what some of us might have thought if that was our projected opening day roster before camp started.
A lot of "Worst team in the NHL" remarks I am sure.
Gents, I do believe we are a 3 line team right now. Stick Drury on the Boyle line and lets run with it.

For those keeping score at home, that is more than half of our "starting" lineup of forwards.

And people wonder why we haven't been scoring that much. Even taking Dubi and Feds off that list, a lot of people missing before tonight. Hopefully we can get a decent amount of points in these next 4 games in 6 days.

It's amazing that this team has remained competitive when you look at that list. Keep it rolling and grab another 2 points.

Wow. Ouch.
Dupont is a C/LW. Kolarik is a C/RW.
I think we'll see:
Avery - Anisimov - Gaborik
Wolski - Stepan - Zuccarello
Drury - Boyle - Prust
Dupont/Newbury/Weise/Kolarik

This is a pretty big game. Put some more distance between us and them.
Play a smart game and hopefully Gaborik is back to playing at a consistently elite level.

Hopefully this list will be back after the all-star break
In the meantime, If the rangers can somehow squeak out another two or three wins before the break without going down like goombas we'll be ok.

Hope Cally and Feds are back right after the ASG break. If we're doing alright, i don't want Dubi to come back early on a leg that's not fully healed.

Y'know, it may just be me -- but have the Rangers started scoring "from the side" a lot more since after the meme got big on this board or have they always scored this much... from the side?

Those lines don't look too bad, actually. But it's obvious the depth is gone now.
If there is one forward I'd love to see step up right now, it's Avery, so with that said... Avery 2 goals, 2 assists.
