Hopefully we won't go back to scoring 2 or less goals.....

I'll say...

Rangers 4-1;

Gaborik 1+1...

Stepan 1+1...

Mza 0+1..

Wolski 2+0..

Lundqvist with 23 saves....

I hope Gaborik can prove my theory right this game, that he hasn't been playing well so he wouldn't steal the spotlight from Dubinsky carrying the offense this season

I seem to recall that the other game against Carolina earlier he also had a pretty good game, just didn't score, right? Hopefully that can come again, just with more goals.

This must be the youngest team in the NHL right now huh?

I love the way the young players grow with the responsibility.
3-1 Rangers, Step 2 and Staal 1!

It's amazing how the lineup can look so competitive considering how many players who are lost and considering the names of them.

This was the right season to have great team depth. Awesome timing. Any previous year and we would've been completely screwed.

Gabby with two assists

Anisimov with a goal
Zucc goal with an assist from Wolski and Steps.
Prust with an EN to top it all off.

Let's see if they can ride this momentum hard until the All-Star break.

Big 4 point swing game.

If we stay afloat that will speak volumes about this team, coaching staff, organizational depth and philosophy.

Winning NHL games with this many injuries to key players, means players buy into the system, buy into the team concept, and no one is bigger then the whole. They follow the coaching staff.

Just go out there as a unit, no matter who's in or out of the lineup, and get the job done.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

nyr - carolina

Quote:
The Carolina Hurricanes are solid 56.9 percent favorites over the New York Rangers. The Hurricanes are favored by AccuScore simulations partly because they have a +5 edge in shots on goal and are projected for 33 shots on goal vs 28 shots for the Rangers. The Hurricanes goalie(s) have the edge in save percentage at 90.8% compared to the Rangers goalie(s) who have a forecasted save percentage of 90.9%. KEY PLAYER STATISTICAL DATA --- SAVES: Henrik Lundqvist 30, Cam Ward 26 SHOTS: Marian Gaborik 3.4, Eric Staal 4 GOALS: Marian Gaborik 0.44, Eric Staal 0.46 PTS: Marian Gaborik has a 50% chance of scoring at least 1 point and Eric Staal has a 23% chance of 1+PTs

I'm hoping that the rangers somehow are able to continue with the offensive play we saw last night. If they can keep up at least SOME of the momentum then we might actually even outshoot carolina. Something I probably wouldn't even hope for a week ago.

We have quite a few players who are on a kinda hot streak atm (at least getting helluva lot hotter than they have been). I'm just hoping Gabby has come out of the slump, and I'd love it if Drury actually got to put it in the net.

I'm not convinced about a big win tho. Carolina have lost the last two and have two games less played. I am sure they're stepping out on the ice with a hunger for points.

1-1 with hank and zucca saving us in the shootout again.

Gents, I do believe we are a 3 line team right now. Stick Drury on the Boyle line and lets run with it.
may sound crazy but Kolarik and Newbury have proven to be scorers in the AHL, Weiss may be full time 4th line next yr. I think they can help till bodies come back. Lets hope Callahan is Feb 1st and Dubinsky sounds like he may be sooner that the 3-4 weeks.

I call a Whale line goal and Drury's first in a 4-2 win. Go up 9 pts on Carolina even though they have 2 games in hand and I believe if the Caps/Habs lose Rangers could take over 5th.

Bright side is only 9 teams are in the playoff race right now. Plenty of time for others in the East to catch up but as long as the team holds the fort for the next month things should be fine as all the bodies will be back mid Feb I beleive

Hopefully they bring their A game after a good effort last night. No let up boys. Carolina's playing well, and it won't be easy.

I find it funny how before MZA got his first every GDT had "Zuc gets his first tonight!!", but with Drury there's no hope whatsoever.

Anyone here think that Skinner could be the best player to come out of the 2010 draft when all is said and done? I love him, and wish he fell to the Rangers

Well, in yesterdays pre-game they had video of Gaborik "working hard after practice" In the htread calling out Gaborik there were a few posts that said if he was really working hard and after practice we would see it / know about it. I had to laugh when I saw the footage last night

Does anyone know why the Canes' GDTs against us always make fun of Dubinsky, Rozsival, and Callahan?

It's possible, but I think by the time it's all done Hall will figure it out and light the league up.

Stream

My first post as jet another of the new norwegian followers

Due to living in Norway and game time beeing 0300am at nigth, it's hard to watch the games. Is there a site or stream where you could watch the game as a replay?
And the whole game and not just the highlights?
Sadly I get up at 07am for work, makes it hard to watch anthing else then the weekend games.

Rangers win 3-2
Goals by Wolski, Stepan and Gaborik

Stream links are posted in the first post.

PS; Skaff deg ESPN360. Kampene er streamet i HD-kvalitet og man kan også se matcher på replay dagen etter, hvis du ikke får med deg kampen live.

Ta en titt her: http://www.espnplayer.com/espnplayer/nhl
