There is no game tonight. There is a chance he will play tomorrow, but no guarantees as of yet. They will see how he feels after a full practice.

Pouls-Plek-Kost
White-Gomez-Gionta
DD-Eller-Darche
Moen-Engqvist-Pyatt

I could live with that, but these injuries are really starting to pile-up (thank god it wasn't Wis and Subban that went down as our d is already spread thin).

This team could really use some natural right wingers.

Why does everyone peg White in the top 6? He doesn't score at the AHL level, I don't see why he'd get that spot over DD or Eller or Pouliot or even Darche.

Guess it will be a nice start for him this year with the Sens up and Neil and Ruutu followed by Lapierre on Saturday. Maybe he fights Max Saturday night

That's what Ive been told that Martin will go with.. Either that or he might switch White with Moen ..

It seems as though both Pacioretty and Halpern will be playing tomorrow night in Ottawa. So both rookies might not even get a game. Pacioretty didnt miss a shift and is said to be feeling good.

Side note: Josh Gorges has been successfully operated, and IF the Canadiens get to the post season, Gorges has said he WILL be there to partake in the events doesnt matter what RDS is reporting on the subject.

It's interesting to note that the Habs are depending on ALOT of rookies this year

Subban, Weber, Pacioretty, Desharnais...and now Engqvist, White, Eller

JM must be in panic mode with all these rookies on the ice lol
Pouliot and Pyatt are now vets

If the team can win... this will be very positive for the Habs

I am bowled over by his 0 goals and 2 assists in 16 games last season, in which he averaged over 11 minures of playing time. Is he what the Habs need to to bolster thei offense,

That is not the point. They called him up to provide depth in the lineup from the injuries.

How much "offensive bolstering" do you think we can get out of our farm club? Our best two scorers in Pacioretty and Desharnais are already with the team. Hell, three if you want to include Weber.

Who knows how Pax feels anyways? He may be inserted into the lineup and White wont play.

Didn't you know toughness scores goals?

Though on a serious note White like Engqvist was a good choice as both are older and have traits that can instantly translate to the NHL.

White looks to have struggled in the AHL this year. He played exceptionally well in pre-season. I guess he was disheartened to learn he was sent back.

Same here. Plus we have very few RH right-wingers so why put both Gionta and White on the same line and make White play on his off side?

My guess is pretty much this but I would switch Pyatt and Engqvist. I would love to see a fourth line of Moen-Engqvist-White.
