I hope people aren't disappointed with white when hes not playing like its the playoffs. Training camp he went all out to make the team, now that the team he will probably pace himself. Still though im happy hes getting a chance.
Max Pacioretty will play tomorrow night, but not Halpern. Did not make the trip. Which means, one of White or Engqvist will not be suiting up for the Habs tomorrow night in Ottawa.

I am bowled over by his 0 goals and 2 assists in 16 games last season, in which he averaged over 11 minures of playing time. Is he what the Habs need to to bolster thei offense,
Still better than Pyatt, please let this mean that Pyatt sits. Every player that plays with Pyatt instantly goes into a scoring slump. As soon as AK46 was put on a line with Halpern and Moen, that line started scoring again.

Pyatt plays pretty much every game until Max comes back.
Anyone watch White when he came back from his injury? What was his injury?
FINALLY White has been called up!! Should of happened a long time ago. Finally somebody who ads some grit but isnt a complete goon on the ice. Can also contribute on attack now and then.
He hasn't been the White from training camp especially since coming back from his injury. So have realistic expectations for him.
Although I do expect adrenaline from finally being called up to carry him a long way. I would much rather have him than Pyatt, so it is up to him to look good and secure a spot on this team.

He was struggling with the offense when he was on Maxwell's line, but the entire line of Ryan Russell-Ben Maxwell-Ryan White struggled (Russell just broke a 20 game pointless streak) But when they moved him from the wing to center, things started to go better for him. The Conboy-White-Wyman line caught fire until Conboy got injured.
I think it is going to be a good game for us tomorrow. I think we are going to have a decent number of scoring chances. I think their will be a lot of corner work. We now will also possibly have White, Engqvist, and Darche screening the net, which is something we lacked this year. Gionta, Pacioretty, and Darche have been great doing it this year.
I think we could have a decent game. I remember last year when we had that game against Pittsburgh and had that whole line of AHL players and they were dynamite and all over the Penguins. They were like our top line.
I think we could have a very good line up, the chemistry is there as well, its not like someone new from another team from a trade.
If Pacioretty is not in I would like a lineup of:
Eller Plekanec Kostitsyn
Pouliot Gomez Gionta
White Engqvist Desharnais
Moen Pyatt Darche
I think that 3rd line will be a chippy in your face line same as the 4th. The top 2 lines will have offense. The third will have offense zone presence on it and be a line with good size for grinding and going to the net. The 4th line will be pure grinding and hard net crashing standing in front of the goalie.
I think keep a line of just AHL players get some chemistry staying there and hopefully something comes out of it.
I love how we go from injuries of a small team to a battered team with size. I love it, I hope we use the size tomorrow.
Kostitsyn 6'0
White 6'0
Engqvist 6'4
Pouliot 6'3
Eller 6'2
Moen 6'2
Darche 6'1
Pacrioetty 6'2 - maybe in the lineup.
we did have 2 gone from Cammalleri and Halpern which are 5'9 and 5'11. 7 guys out of the 12 will be 6'0 or over. Now the critics will say we are big but lack experience we always lose with the critics of our team.

Well, even thats better point/game ratio than Pyatt brings, does that make you feel better? No?
Why does everyone peg White in the top 6? He doesn't score at the AHL level, I don't see why he'd get that spot over DD or Eller or Pouliot or even Darche.
Agree 100%, people are overhyping him on here big time, I'm just hoping he add's some jam to the 4th line
