I'm looking forward to seeing Duchene play. He has some great potential, and could be an electrifying player (not that he isn't already).

My first official action as mod: Sticky the GDT. Woot!

I hate the Avalanche. Let's get a W!

Hope this one goes into OT for a Preds win. Would be good for both of my teams.

This is certainly going to be a tough one, the Avs are a very speedy, offensively minded team. Should be interesting to see the chess match unfold.

Oh and sucks that the brothers Ryan and Cal are both out with injuries. Would have been cool to see them play against each other.

Should be a good one. I've seen Svatos listed as either "questionable" or "probable" depending on the source. Would be interesting to see him play against his old team. Trotz likes to play the hot hand, so would he be willing to replace MattiHali with Svatos?

I don't think after the past two games those guys have had you sit any of them. They have earned their ice-time. I think svatos will sit until someone has a bad game, or someone just needs a night off.

I believe tonight's game was the one PattyPred was attending with a few fans. Hopefully the cameras find them at some point tonight!

Don't know what to do about Svatos right now. Keep him out until he's needed or till he's 100%, but there's also Trotz' belief that veterans don't lose their spot due to injury that we have to take into account as well...

Its going to be a clusterpuck when we get Sullivan back... not to mention lombardi (whenever).

I would like to see...

SK Goc Erat
Wilson Legwand Hornqvist
Spaling Smithson Ward
Svatos Mueller Dumont

Ugh... we need to start playing some games on nights I have class instead of nights before class. Can't drink with you all tonight. If we lose you can all blame it on me

Can someone remind me what the lines were last game? Dumont was on a line with Mueller and Hals right?

Kinda' hard to bust-up the Mueller line right now (Mueller line - if at the beginning of the year anyone would have said we have a Mueller line I think we'd all be talking about whether or not we can "beat" the Isles and Devils for the 1st pick). I like Svatos on the Leggy line, but that leaves us in the "what do we do with Horny" situation. Personally, I like Horny to the Goc line and Erat to the Spaling line and Smitty sitting, but given we just extended him, guess Trotzy isn't thinking like that......

Token's prolly right - Svatos sits 'til someone gets banged up or just stinks up the joint for a few nights.

I think that's right.

I don't think Patty made the trip, her facebook didn't mention anything about being in Denver. Kelsey (some of you know her) and her sister are sitting behind the bench. Look for 2 Preds jerseys.

Mueller and Smithson lined up at center, but those were the lines last game.

Yeah, my mistake. Patty's trip is for the second game at Colorado (I think the 19th)...

Fact is Svatos was in the KHL for a reason. If this team suddenly got healthy trades can be made, players sent down, ETC.

It's not a matter of 'What do we do?' it's a matter of 'How can we not screw this up and get the maximum we can?'

If the Preds are smart, they will absolutely play Svatos tonight (if he's healthy enough). It's not like he was exactly playing poorly and the Avs are positively CURSED when it comes to former Avs having big games against them. I'm not a superstitious person or anything, but if the Preds play Svatos, I'd give it a 95% chance of him scoring at least one goal.

No - my group is attending the 3/31/2011 game. However, there are some Preds fans from Nashville who will be attending this game.
