Really like those lines. Can't see the 4th line getting a shift in the 3rd though unless it's a blowout either way.

I'd like it better if the Stepan line and the Drury line were switched.

Is there a reason the Drury-Boyle-Prust line would be ahead of a Wolski-Stepan-Zucc line? Just seems counter-intuitive. The DBP line is certainly more defensive, isn't that the idea of a 3rd-line shut-down player? Or are they just expecting Skinner-Ruutu to play behind the Staal line and want them there for that?

I wouldn't put much (any) stock into the order Gross lists the lines.

I don't think line order really matters. I doubt that line will see more ice time than the Zucc-Step-Wolski line unless they are killing penalties for most of the game.

I find it funny that looking at those lines, everyone is screaming we suck and we should be blown out. Yet, each of those 3 top lines is perfectly capable of putting up goals.

I say we score 4 tonight and win 4-3 in regulation.

Gotcha. Just used to the standard 1-2-3-4 line-ups as for the typical Scoring A- Scoring B- Defense - Checking lines. Thanks.

Excited for this game, should be a fun one. Despite those who complain about his contract E. Staal is still a beast and our last game against them was great too. After some bad losses and a blowout, I sorta want to see the OT nailbiter that I complained about earlier. Those are the best games.

I'd rather see a regulation nail-biter. Can't give away points to the people chasing them...

i imagine the boyle line will play often against staals line. if staal plays a lot, which i imagine he will than the boyle line will play a lot of minutes too.

2 points is 2 points. Doesn't matter how we get there. If we take care of business ourselves, there is no need to scoreboard watch

While I would normally agree, that SHO loss to Philly last year is a pretty good reminder or why I think that a 2-point game is much better than a 3.

Drury has no reason being on the 2nd line

if we put henke and drury on the first line which one would finish with more points for the rest of the season?

True, but if the Rangers got 2 points in just one other game earlier that season...the extra point would be irrelevant

Dont pay any attention to the line numbers, or the lines themselves either really. Two shifts into the game you'll see Torts throw an entirely new combination out there
