pass or fail

At the next Tip-A-King, I think I am going to offer Drew Doughty an extra tip to be the voicemail on my phone.

"Hi, this is Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings. Dave is a busy guy and can't take your call right now. Leave a message."

Since most people on here are most likely on drugs right now to numb the pain of the Kings season....here is another place where you can be around a bunch of people "tripin"

(coachella line-up released)

I bought this yesterday

60% for my cats
30% because it's so ugly
and 10% if someone comes over and needs a pair of pants on the fly

I got word that a group of Ducks fans were marching on Washington to petition the government to stop us from making fun of them... They got lost in downtown Seattle...

San Jose will be using a college goalie from Vancouver as backup tonight. I'd love to see the starter go down.

So I tore my left pec and seperated my shoulder at the gym on tuesday. Without telling me my trainer put his body weight on my dumbbell in an attempt to give me negative weight. He didn't tell me he was doing it and we were not doing negatives. That's a huge no no. It was at the end of a very vigorous workout and I had nothing left. Now I am injured for at least 6 months which is going to ruin everything I've been working for. The lead trainer leveled with me and said that they were totally in the wrong and that he watched the whole thing.

I can't believe he was so irresponsible. I'd like to sue the training company but I'd be embarrassed because I'm friends with all of them. I had surgery and am stuck with at least 10% of the bill. What would you guys do?

That left pec is gonna be a problem for you for a looooong time my friend. Be reeeeeeeaaaaally careful during rehab.

I had a similar injury once and it was a real mofo to get back.

Sounds like you should post your injury somewhere that a lawyer could read it......I wonder where that would be..........

Sorry again but when will you learn, that is what anabolics are for.

Personally I'd probably check my legal options. I definitely wouldn't want to have to pay for medical bills becasue of a blatant mistake on someone else's part.

I'm leaning towards a lawsuit. I'm not hurting for money but it was such an idiotic move that had such drastic repricussions. I'm friends with this guy and all of the trainers outside of the gym and he will get fired and more but he took that risk when he took the job. Now my summer and all my plans are screwed plus I'm in pain and can't perform my job to the best of my abilities.

2 of my closest friends are trainers. I wouldn't sue them simply for the fact that they aren't worth anything (they have no assets to go after). These guys are independent contractors and I doubt they any sort of insurance to protect them from this kind of stuff. I'd imagine you'd sue the gym and name the idiot trainer in the suit in which case you can get their insurance money which should be substantial.

Sounds like a tough case. I don't think you can make one against the gym, but mainly the trainer personally, and I doubt he has much to go after. I would ask Zad or one of our more experienced posters about it, but I would be looking into compensations, probably legal compensations. It has to be done or else you'll just be paying for his mistake.
