I hope so. The decisions on the 4th line last night made no sense.

You've got two guys, Barch (useless) and Sutherby (pretty much useless plus dinged up) who Crawford specifically decided to insert into the lineup despite having 2 superior replacements, one of whom is a capable fighter in case the game got rough. But the weird part is that it's not like the course of the game changed his thinking or they proved to be ineffective. Right from the start you could tell that he didn't trust them. Either Eriksson, Richards, or Benn had to double shift with the 4th line the entire night. Against the Oilers. So it's like he knew that the line was going to suck but just did it anyway.

And double shifting Richards + playing him on the PK in place of Wandell + the back to back games factor is even more puzzling. I expect another shorthanded chance bonanza for Calgary.

I keep waiting for someone higher up on HF to come in and tell me to tone it down with the images. :X

Last update finished. Hopefully HF won't go slow as hell tonight as it did last night.

Forgot to add this stat...
Dallas has allowed just one powerplay goal in the eight games of 2011. They're 23 of 24 on the PK since allowing 3 to Vancouver on New Years Eve.

With a win tonight Dallas can become the first team in the West to reach 30 wins.

More importantly they can go 9 points ahead of Anaheim, with two games in hand, and 8 points ahead of Phoenix with games played being even (and 12 points ahead of 9th).

I like the idea of opposing teams' fans with old computers coming in here and just getting destroyed and having to ctrl+alt+del --> end process. At least Stars fans know to wait until we've spammed this thing to the second page.

I absolutely hate clicking on the first game day thread page because of all the imagines, gifs, and other assorted detritus, Lobo. Is all this extra stuff besides the stats really necessary?

As a service to the haters, I thought I'd make a post to get this thing to Page 2.

I like it Lobo.
