The Ribeiro rumors are back.
From Dallas Dave
Rangers called about Richards, Stars countred with Ribeiro, Rangers balked. This was before Dubinsky went down.

Stars and Leafs are talking. About a deal to cut salary for the Stars.

Something is up if the Stars are trying to cut salary IMO, maybe regarding Richards.

I believe he was referring to the summer because he mentions the Dubinsky injury may change their mind.

edit: already fixed it

This guy is very talented. Thanks to him and the Stars for bringing this to the fans.

Edit: I know it's kind of a nitpicky thing but they should really reverse the order that they put up the photos in that link.

^^ Pretty funny. That was also the second game of a back to back...both of which Turco was sporting the ball cap. Guess he's got more time to work on his standup routine with all the off days.

Edit: **** I didn't even realize that today's game was a day game. Wow.

Stars are the only team in the NHL to have 3 20-goal scorers by the break.

Weird. I thought Philly would have 3 20-goal scorers by now.

since it hadn't been posted, not that is important, both Loui and Richards were "drafted" by team Lidstrom or the blue team for the all star game tomorrow.

St. Louis --> Richards
Lidstrom --> Eriksson

It just made sense.

Richards and Eriksson use the Stars' theme songs for their intro, beauties.

This (and the fantasy draft) would be so much better if they did away completely with all commentators/hosts/interviewers. Just have certain areas of the ice rigged for sound along with a handful of dedicated microphones on the most charismatic players (not Matt Duchene). Then accompany it with on-screen graphics to explain who's doing what.

^Completely agree

The forced interviews and punchlines were almost too much to bear. And putting the players in those uncomfortable seating arrangements...who actually believed that was a good idea? It was incredibly awkward.

Completely agree. Alas, finding charismatic hockey players is a chore in itself though.

Goal and two assists for Loui so far.

Richards also hitting the scoresheet, with one assist.

MVP's probably going to Weber, though. 4 assists and a +7.

That's what you get when you let fans vote.

Though I admit, I was surprised the NHL didn't find some way to give it to Crosby.
