Quick! Reference the last Islander penalty that Butchy wasn't confused about!

Come to think of it....maybe Butchie should contact the Money Store to make some commercials.

Yeah, Scooter was a homer, but the good kind. Butch is just...off. Watch a Yankee game with Tino Martinez in the booth. Notice the similarity in annoying voices (Tino has something stuck in his nose). Notice the whole constantly being prodded over his career.

Damn, so many awful television personalities over the years. I love Walt "Clyde" Frazier, though. Brilliant vocabulary, non-forced rhymes i.e. Dishin' and Swishin,' not too high on the homer scale, etc.

I love his wardrobe....

Back to Scooter...his musing over how good the pasta was in this place...in the middle of an inning was classic.

I still say Butchie reminds me a bit of him..
He & Howie remind me ..how Phil was with Bill White.

All we need is Butchie leaving in the middle of the 3rd to beat traffic.

Back to topic....

Tonight shows we aren't the only disorganized team on the ice in the NHL.

Well, a month ago people around here were labeling Tavares a "second line center...AT BEST" so pay it no mind. I have seen enough from Bailey in spurts this year to know he will be a very good NHL player once he matures a bit and learns how to be a professional...not a doubt in my mind.

I had to watch the Buffalo feed. There's only one thing worse than Butch and local Long Island commercials: Rick Jeanerette and local western New York commercials.

As long as Parenteau outscores Gaborik and Kovalchuk, there is absolutely no chance Snow won't try to re-sign one of his poster boy (supposed) 'diamond int the rough'-signings.

Anything below 1 million would be fine by me. Anything below 1.5, I would probably easily accept also. Parenteau _does_ slide in better next to Tavares than many of those other 'only at the Islanders-options' such as Gillies, Sim, Colliton or Andy Hilbert.

(However, hopefully Snow/Capuano/whoever gets to coach next year will not be afraid to eventually sit Parentau in favour of better players. A 2-way contract would be ideal).

Joe Michelletti's Outstanding's Ticker - 92
Sam Rosen's "What a <adjective> play!!!" Ticker - 68

Imagine when they actually show up to play the came and win.

And at the end of his career would leave before the 7th to beat the traffic.

Dawned on me this morning I posted without acknowledging the best thing about this season so far, Amac.
