Is he signed with Col? will have to clear waivers? I dont see him passing the waivers if his plan is to play for COL this season. Pajaarvi-Forsberg-Omark

Nope, no waivers. He only has to clear if he's actually played in Europe, which he hasn't.

How would you like it if the thing you trained your whole life to do was taken away from you because of injury? He doesn't need the money, fame or wins, so he's just doing it because he loves to play and wants to make sure he tried everything before giving up. I think that's commendable.

Funny how the relentless persuit of your dreams is looked at as pathetic by some. Self satisfaction that you did everything possible to keep doing what you love and used to be fantastic at should be admirable.

Here we go again.

I predict Forsberg will play less than 10 games in the NHL this season.

if the dude wants to play, let him. who cares how long it takes him or how many injuries he had to overcome.

the best is how fans and media put down people who want to play sports and have a passion for the actual game like Favre and Forsberg - as if theyre "Wasting everyones time". its almost as if the Cynical Turd Virus sweeps across peoples minds and you just take on this notion just because its there.

"OH MAN, THIS AGAIN?! UGH, WHY IS HE WASTING MY LAME CONSUMERISM TIME WATCHING SPORTS MEDIA?! UGH CANT HE JUST NOT WANT TO PLAY SPORTS ANYMORE? THIS DOESNT EFFECT ME AT ALL BUT, BOY, AM I ANNOYED! HES TOTALLY RUINING MY LIFE RIGHT NOW. IT SHOULD BE MY DECISION IF THIS GUY PLAYS SPORTS OR NOT."

some of you should watch some Louis CK

It seems like his last comeback was like 7 years ago. How is this possible? And apparently the fact that he was a non-impact guy then was all due to his foot(?) because you can't factor:

bad foot + 7 years(or whatever) = NHL dude
