I'm wondering if the heritage jersey is here to stay or if it's just here this season. Considering the anniversary and all. Perhaps they are planning the Liberty jersey as an alternative one next season? Would seem perfectly normal for a marketing; "Hey let's make more money" - kind of thought right?
Could be cool and it would make the heritage jersey a tad "exclusive" for this season only....

When that's said the heritage ones grew on me as well. I was skeptical at first and really wanted the lady liberty ones, but they look great.

That word always makes me think of the phrase "reeks of awesomeness" which is what I think the Heritage jerseys do...

Got my Gaborik last week and he promptly scored 4 goals the next game.

I think the Rangers could have done much better with jerseys we've actually used in the past.
The Heritage is better than any of the authentic "old time" jerseys. Sorry, they did a great job with this one. Classy and really differentiates Rangers from the "newer" cluns.

The real jersey and nothing else.

I hate third jerseys, alternate jerseys, any other excuse to sell another jersey and above all - black jerseys.

I liked the white Liberty jersey, but after seeing the Heritage jersey with the 85th anniv emblem, the retired #'s on the back inside portion of the jersey and the lettering on the inside collar, I became a big fan of the jersey. Classic.

Both. But I would prefer to not have third jerseys at all.

I liked the design of the liberty, just didn't like the actual logo. Love the heritage jersey though, kept basically the same design of the Ranger jersey and added a vintage feel to it.

I think they both look nice...but the Heritage wins IMO.

The thing I dislike about the Liberty is that it is uncomfortable to wear. The patch is so large and pointy that you can feel it when you move around. It's like having a sharp edged piece of cardboard on your chest. Not a big fan...so personally I don't wear my liberty. I think it's better suited as a display piece. lol

I think the Heritage sweater is generally better-looking.

However, I think the Liberty sweater is uniquely NY, and I prefer it overall.
