Highly Talented LW Prospect to Toronto

They must have high talent potential and also be somewhat close to making the NHL

Some people to think about:

Beach
Filatov
Watson
Stoa
Paajarvi
Omark
Shirokov

as well as more.

What would you want for some of your teams LW prospects?

It isn't going to be easy to convince any teams to give us a really good LW prospect without Schenn being the return.

A deal for MPS would have to include schenn.

Omark + for schenn would be nice but I can't see TO fans considering this at all.

I would like Omark, but sure as hell wouldn't consider moving Schenn for him, unless that + was quite substantial. At this point anyways.

Canucks would likely look into moving a Raymond + Shirokov package for a tough top 6 guy. I'm not that familiar with the Leafs system though.

Gunnarsson for Omark could potentially work for both teams pretty well, though I'm a little hesitant to give up on Omark so quickly -- I think he's going to be something special.

Toronto doesn't neccessarily need a highly talented LW prospect, what they really need is a big LWer with top line talent who can play right now. If they were shopping for prospects (they're not), a guy like Beach would obviously be a target. Guys like Omark, Shirokov, Paajarvi would not.

I'm just thinking that Toronto doesn't necessarily have the assets to go out and get those type of guys, that's why it would be more beneficial to simply pay for a boom-bust sort of prospect for a lower cost.
