We wanted youth, well we got the youth!

Also, since I'm the resident pedant, you spelled "separated" wrong in the bottom table.

Yeah, thank God the internet police are out there catching all the misspellings (sp?), typos and grammar errors out there or this wouldn't be the organized chaos that it is.

They were talking to him right after what must have been a pretty intense on-ice workout, he was sweating profusely. And he was saying how he was feeling much better recently because he felt like the muscle was getting stronger because he could push off much harder with that leg than he could before.

It sounded like he was past the part of rehab where they try to determine if the surgery worked, and now it was a matter of strengthening the muscle to the point of being "game ready"

You could see by the look in his eye that he could feel it getting there...

Did you miss the part where I called myself a pedant? You act like I called him stupid.

I'm sorry that spelling and grammar interest me. I'll try not to inconvenience you any more with my bothersome and frivolous corrections.

Injuries during Atlanta

Just caught the end highlights of the game on MSG. They showed for a split second and alluded to some new injuries.

Could someone recap the new fatalities for me? Who are we calling up from the AHL now?

Prust blocked a shot - lower leg/ankle
Girardi - broken nose from a fight. I assume he'll be good to go unless it's effecting his breathing

Got in a fight with Ladd after he had a nasty hit on Staal. Girardi held his own until the end when ladd landed a few on his face causing blood to come out.

Girardi played out the 2nd but didnt return for the third. Hopefully just stitches but who knows. With our luck i wouldnt be surprised if it was a lot worse

Credit Girardi with a respectable scrap. He got in a few good shots.

Credit Ladd with backing off after he made Girardi's nose bleed. He's got a bomb. nuff said

Injuries: Look at the one single bright side

If we end up making the playoffs roughly 75% of our forwards will have rested for 1-2 months during the season and should be quite fresh!

Kind of odd about Girardi he looked completely fine sitting on the bench just BSing after coming back from the locker room before intermission.

I doubt Girardi misses a game (hopefully). He never missed a game so far and I doubt he would because of a bloody nose. If it's broken, I think he would put on one of those huge visors like the one Malkin wears.

Yeah, but will they be in "mid-season" form, or pre-season form
I was thinking about this before, it could be a good thing, but we have to get healthy and play together for a while.

Both Girardi and Prust are DTD.

He was overmatched, Ladd knew what he was doing, Girardi looked like he needs some fighting lessons like how to hold the guy's jersey so he wouldn't unleash his right bombs, unless Girardi is left handed.

BTW Tort said Girardi has some rib issues, so it could be much worse than a broken nose. Irin man streak is in danger.

It's all strawmen this year on the Rangers. Need these guys to start taking some calcium supplements or something.
