I'm surprised he fought the lady without ducking her for six months first.

Komisarek will have some explaining to do once he gets out of traction.

Kostopoulos just landed a nice punch on Edler and knocked him down in a fight. Not a KO but a one punch knockdown.

As much as I want to LOL at Komisarek for sucking as a Leaf, I feel like it would be really unfortunate if this story turned out to be true. But it's TMZ, a sh**ty entertainment tabloid even by sh**ty entertainment tabloid standards. Then again, I guess anybody can stumble on a story.

Some Halak News I got from Habsinsideout, if anyone wants to keep up with how hes doing. Unfortunately hitting a rough patch right now.

Jaro hits a rough patch in St. Louis.

Post-Dispatch columnist Bernie Miklasz writes:

I don't know what to say about Jaroslav Halak. He can be absolutely brilliant. His play can be inspiring. When Halak is in one of these zones, we remember why the Blues were so excited -- and why we were so thrilled -- to acquire him in the trade with Montreal. But the guy does not get it done on too many nights. He's allowed too many soft goals. He has not played well on the road. And this is one of the main reasons to explain why the Blues can't hold leads; great goaltending provides security to protect those leads.

Halak has many things he needs to work on, like puck control or rebound control. He needs Gill and Gorges lol

He's still young anyways, plenty of time to improve.

Gill for E. Johnson!

I remember thinking when he left the Habs that he's just reaching his prime now, he's going to a team that will allow him to use his physical play better, Its one of our top 2 rivals of all time, this might really haunt the Habs in the future.

Now...

He sucks to the point that Leaf fans don't even take joy in the fact that he betrayed us. Injury problems constantly, god awful team that has no future, has to watch his captain bang his ex-gf and now a woman beater...

Its a good thing Burke overpayed ya, you're going to need it for lawyers!

You would hear the complaint that he's taking a job away from Ryan White.

i'd love to take Kostopoulos back. He was one of my favorite Habs while he was here. Love his attitude and work ethic. He also has a little bit of talent. I'd take him anyday over White and Pyatt, easily.

Jaroslav Halak was 2-6-1 in January with a 3.39 GAA and a .883 save percentage.

Halak got off to an amazing start with the Blues in October and early November as he was 8-1-1 in his first ten starts with a .944 save percentage and a 1.46 GAA. But times have been tough of late for the former Montreal netminder as he is currently 17-16-5 with a .907 save percentage and a 2.62 GAA. The Blues need Halak to return to his old form if they want to make a run in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Same here and the guys / fans loved him. I remember reading articles that he use to go outside and play street hockey with some kids that lived on his street, great guy and a team player first

2 more pts for Sergei tonight. He has now 28 pts exceeding his career high in 07-08.

Considering that he missed 4 games, played a good number of games in the 3rd and 4th line at the beginning of the season and playing for a team that doesn't score much (best scorer last season only had 51 pts), Sergei is having a very good season. He's 3 pts behind Nashville top scorer. I wouldn't be surprised to see him lead the Preds in points at the end of the season.
