lol, Kolarik pushed him.

Avery was really good, though. I voted Boyler, though.

For mine (as I said in the GDT) Avery was good in that he got involved lots and brought some energy, but he made some dumb decision with puck. Instead of making the simple play, he'd try for the fancy one and it wouldn't come off

Despite McDonagh's -2 and his man scoring the 2nd goal, I though he played a really good game tonight.

he workes hard and makes some passes from behind the net, but he loses thepuck more than anyone on this team, he must have had 5-6 turnovers tonight.. but his effort is great. good battle against Big Buff, thats a +

Other - Chris Drury

If it wasn't for his leadership, Boyle would have never scored that huge goal.

Early in the game he wound up for a slapshot coming down the right wing, then launched his shot into the left corner boards....and it wasn't deflected. The man is useless. I called him a 7 million dollar Blair Betts and people ragged on me earlier this season, one poster even bet me that Drury, despite the games he missed would outscore Betts. I wish i knew that poster personally, cause i'd be sitting pretty on that bet.

The Good- Boyle and Avery really stood out to me. Wolski trade looks good so far. He has added some much needed offense to this team. Hank is a beast in shootouts we usually only need 1 goal.

The Bad- Girardi and Prust injuries

The Redden- 5 on 3 powerplay

Yay, more injuries!

Jesus christ, can we go a game without losing a player? It's like our team is playing russian roulette instead of hockey

Huge win with all the players out. Now Girardi and Prust are day-to-day. Girardi's streak is on the line.

I love the heart of this team! They just wont give up. How many games this season haven't we been a goal or two down into the third period, and then ending up with one or two points!? That spirit will be $$$ in the playoffn the future.

The Redden: Philips Arena camera operator. Somebody want to let him know you can zoom in when the play enters the zone?

He wasn't in bad position on that goal originally; puck getting blocked in front of the net ****ed him. Tough break. Could have happened to any solid dmen.

His -2 is just additional proof that +/- is a completely overrated statistic. McDonagh was very solid. I cannot for the life of me get over his stride. Watching him skate is magical.
